Yes, hence the tears as quite frankly if I'd not been crying I'd have been killing things. Lucky for him he was somewhere the other side of London not making said suggestions in person!
Thankfully the hotel we use is a short walk from City Hall, so I took myself down to the Sealife Centre after several large glasses of wine (yes this was before lunchtime, the bar opened at 1030, I had coffee then the messages started and switched to wine). Spent several hours in the aquarium and came out much much happier, the annual pass has now officially paid for itself at on the door prices

Oh men are awful horrid creatures.
On the other hand some of my best friends suffer from the Y chromosome, and are fabulous.
They also make good playthings - for which I really do choose not to charge, though naturally a vodka and cola or large glass of wine is generally much appreciated! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

So he was tapping into his phone doing this? What did he think? That it was ebay or something? If he'd have said it in person it'd just be another murder statistic in London on a bank holiday weekend

But its the past and I now have one fewer person to worry about really being a friend or not.
So now I have to start thinking about next weekend heading south again for a friends Hen Do, need to find a vaguely piratical outfit tomorrow night
and book train tickets/decide if I'm going to drive (currently the winning idea). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Drove south, left work a little after 4, arrived in Gosport just after 9. On the way I stopped for coffee and chatted up some police men at Oxford services, was a good start to the weekend.:D
Got there was handed my bunny ears and headed in to the play area in my spongebob onsie. Among other things I'm a pathetic girl when it comes to heights - couldnt go down the tallest near vertical slide, but on the upside I can grip anything with my thighs (won both the firemans pole climb and failed to fall off the rotating 'log' obstacle).
Saturday we got in to our Pirate costumes and went to the nearest pop playing night spot, we were dancing with clowns, and penguins most of the night.
The drive home on Sunday was painful! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Well you obviously will wear anything... :rotfl:scubaangel wrote: »Among other things I'm a pathetic girl when it comes to heights - couldnt go down the tallest near vertical slide, but on the upside I can grip anything with my thighs (won both the firemans pole climb and failed to fall off the rotating 'log' obstacle).

Armed police I wanted the guns....honest!
Yes, I have no shame, I really will wear anything, the line gets drawn as mini skirts and hot pants.
I rode alot until my mid teens, so although I have no balance I do have good grip.
Most arent rocking the clown pants, and make up look though....the penguins were fun though. They were willing to take photos with us on thhe stairs to try and make it look like they were our confused parrots.
Tired mostly, I shared the lovely Canuk's airbed but she snuggles which is a little disconcerting when I don't, it was also very warm and the second night there were three of us on the airbed, and the third snored quite alot!
I stopped regularly for coffee/fresh air/loo breaks so it took ages but I'd rather that than risking an accident because of tiredness and the horrid weather. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

And what's wrong with those? Oh Sponge Bob onsie wearer...

I would have thought balance would have come from that as well. "Poise" as they say.scubaangel wrote: »Most arent rocking the clown pants, and make up look though....the penguins were fun though. Must have been a large airbed. :rotfl:
Sounds like you had a really good time - a welcome break?scubaangel wrote: »I stopped regularly for coffee/fresh air/loo breaks so it took ages but I'd rather that than risking an accident because of tiredness and the horrid weather.
Yes, you didn't exactly have the best of weather. It has been absolutely stotting it down oop north. I don't think it has actually rained much - just all in very short period of time.
Sometimes sideways..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

See comments on thigh strength....I'm not built to show off my thighs and bum!
It was a queen size so plenty big enough and deeper than my matress at home - if not for the slightly plastic texture it'd have been better than my matress at home.
Yeah it was a great weekend. We were pretty lucky with the weather while we were out it was (thankfully) just while I was driving home, the sideways rain tended to be my hint to get off the motorway for a break, along with when my eyes wanted to close, or I realised I had no idea which bit of the motorway I was on.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
