Not really, but as I spent today doing washing and more clearing out of assorted stuff in my room I need to start concentrating on job hunting again.

Happily(?) I have a couple of mystery shopping jobs booked for tomorrow at the Trafford Centre, but will be home afterwards with posh chocs and a pile of data to input, and 'lunch' will be the free coffee and cake offer from John Lewis :D

Free food and posh chocs. Sounds like happily to me...

Oh the free food and posh chocs are fabulous, the problematic part is it being the Trafford Centre, my credit card tends to cry when I visit, and I loathe the drive to and from it because of the motorways (I've never driven them and not been in slow moving traffic).

Leave it at home to watch TV. Just not QVC...

I must admit, I've never driven that end. The whole thing wasn't even started when I was last in Manchester. The Arndale was the retail experience... :rotfl:

Experience was about right, it's generally believed that in the long run the IRA did us a favour on that one!

The section between the ship canal/trafford centre and the swinton interchange is awful, three lanes down to two just after the bridge, then suddenly four and noone can change lanes effectively because of the bottlenecking - had more near misses along there than anywhere else I can think of.

Currently going cross eyed from data input. Next time I agree to doing these things I really should do it after borrowing a tablet so I can direct enter the data.

Be thankful: When I was there, Salford Shopping City was my local shopping area...

    Arndale was opulence... :rotfl:

Make sure you take breaks from screen work.

    Explains alot!

And if there's a next time with a tablet I can let my victims fill it in themselves on the spot, not have to muck about printing what feels like massive amounts of paper work, find pen(s), a clipboard, and the time to manually copy the data across. It's taken me over 4 hours so far, but written up the mystery shops and only got 5 more questionnaires to work through.

Nothing you didn't already know. :p

Not done much today, actually its fair to say I've done nothing of any importance.

Went for a run, 1.46 miles, managed to run the first 0.8 mile without stopping to walk, had to use a new route due to the weather (the path I usually use is practially waterlogged as I discovered on yesterdays run) but not too keen on it as a route as so much of it is on pavements but it's a run which is the important part. Tomorrow am planning to either run the reservoir or possibly drive up to the flatter resevoir and run that.

Struggling to meet my swagbucks target which is annoying but have made a decent inroad in to my self set instagc target amount thanks to some simple but repetitive tasks.

Did todays run at the other reservoir, was pretty busy, but I'd forgotten that although its not too muddy when the water level is high parts of the path flood. So my run resulted in me getting back to my car with legs soggy to the knee, as a couple of the flooded parts were ankle deep - though I think I was in a better position than the bloke walking in a suit and work shoes!

Am also certain that the supermarket staff and customers were slightly confused by my walking around leaving wet foot prints. :D
