Nope his problem is being a lying, hypocrite who for a Vicar displays decidedly unchristian opinions.

We've all told him she's not dead yet. Doesn't make any difference.

Lets just say the first time my sister and I met him we were around 6 and 8, we'd been left with our Aunt for the afternoon and we both kicked off that badly that our parents had to come pick us up because we instantly hated him. Things really haven't improved since then despite his becoming a Vicar, and I truely dread to think what he was like in his previous profession when he was a primary teacher given how my sister and I reacted to him back then.

Hence the feeling that it wouldn't be right to attend Church and take Communion from him.

Today has been a very bad day, we've pretty much established that alot of Nana's behaviour is an attempt to manipulate us, and she threw a major wobbly when we caught her out.

Apparently she wishes she never had children, and she only loves her grandchildren, but then amended that to only loves my sister when she realised that I was there too.

Mum and Aunt couldn't stay in the same room with her, so after they left I pointed out that if she'd not had children she'd not have my sister there to love and would have been packed off to a care home a decade ago if not longer as none of us would have existed to help care for her now.

Instantly the tears were switched off, and she was all smiles and apologies to me. That is until I told her I was going to the other room to check on my Mum who was also in tears, at which point I became evil and awful again because I wouldn't sit and comfort her.

Not sure how much longer as a family we can keep doing this.

In money news I signed up to Tesco's Orchard site last night and have been invited to a campaign for their healthy eating range already. It looks to be the same as BzzAgent, which is weird as Bzz was bought by Tesco a couple of years ago. But if it means more free stuff/money off shopping I'll give it a try.

Has she always been like that?

Children are not generated by fairy dust and unicorn farts. They were an active choice.

Are you sure it isn't that she only loves her grandchildrens' grandmother?

    That is terrible.

Maybe you can remind her that if she's unpleasant to the other people in the house, the four walls will be only too happy to keep her company all day instead.

Perhaps they're thinking of shooting the BzzAgent brand?

No more so than anyone else would try to get their own way usually.

The fact that she didn't want to acknowledge that her behaviour had upset her daughters so badly that they wouldn't stay in the same room as her, and that I had to go to my Mum to comfort her not stay and look after Nana was horrendous, but as I said to her my mum is my priority the same as most of the time my mum will say that Nana is hers. Not been round today, although I popped in to drop off my house key before I went for a run and saw mum in passing (I leave my keys at Mums so I don't have to carry them and means I can check in without staying too long) sounds like todays been calmer, although she was waiting for my Aunt to arrive to tell Nana about the respite care she's going to for a week while I'm on holiday with Mum.

Possibly, either way I'll use both for as long as I can. Free stuff is free stuff. ;)

Today's run was a 1 miler, did the mile in 11.45, the total run time was 12.47 though - time spend trying to stop the timer with my running gloves on which aren't touch sensitive ones. Tomorrow if it's not raining all day I'll do the 3.5 mile route round the reservior.

Most people don't reduce their children to tears in order to get their own way.

If your mother is like 90% of mothers - you (and your sister) will be her priority.

    It's that children thing.

Oh in general am sure my mum does priorities me and my sister, but in general right now it's Nana. Normally she wouldn't have behaved that badly to cause it, I suspect it's frustration from not being able to get up and deal with things herself more than anything else.

No taking off the glove. I don;t think I;d be coordinated enough to use my nose without just headbutting the screen.

Yup because I'm sure I can control a brolly, and my own legs.....

My nose is a lot lower down than that... ;)

Of course you can. Just watch Mary Poppins a couple of times... :rotfl:

    Lack of coordination.

My nose is lower than my forehead too, I still expect I'd manage it.

But Mary is Practically Perfect. I'm far more chaotic vortex.

Didn't attempt a run today, it's been raining all day and my legs and arms are killing me - I decided that I need to do something other than run so last night while I was reading I decided to do sets of 5 push ups after I finished each chapter in the book I was reading, the book had 22 chapters.

So today was an exersize rest day and I'll do the long run tomorrow instead.

Just requested a £10 cash out from qustodian, another phone app which sends you ads to look at in return for between 2p and 8p a time. Requested it to paypal but if it takes fees off next time I'll request it direct to my bank account instead.

Had an email from hot diamonds reminding me that a voucher code they sent me expires soon, logged in to find over £30 of loyalty points so have ordered another coin which has cost me a grand total of 5p and I still have £2 of points left and I seem to recall that you earn points even when you spend points so should get another £4 worth credited to my account at some point.
