Job application in. I'm treating myself to piece of hot chocolate cake whilst watching Jessie Pavelka bully fat people in to exersizing.
I'm doing 'night shift' sitting with my Nana tomorrow so I'm not too worried about getting to bed at a reasonable hour tonight but I do need to do some exersize so while I've got the house to myself I've dug out my exersize DVD's and planning to do some of one later on - most likely I'll do the warm up and cool down sections but I do need to go for a run tomorrow. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Am now not nightshift Nana sitting tonight, which is a little bit annoying as I stayed in bed until almost 3pm to make sure I'd be ok staying away right through when I could have got up at 11am instead and done something useful with the day as I was woken up by the postie delivering my Hot Diamonds order.
Tis very pretty and sparkly.
Didn't get out for my run as Mum phoned me shortly after I woke up asking me to pop round and sit with Nana for an hour or so while she went to get some shopping, meaning by the time I got home again it's gone dark, but we'll be walking to the pub tonight so that'll have to count as todays exersize.
I also need to go in to a running shop for an evaluation, my trainers are starting to look really manky so if I can get that sorted while I'm already out and about doing some mystery shopping I'll use some of my amazon vouchers to buy a new pair. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

We won the quiz again last night, but as they'd not won the week before when Mum and I didn't go we had to pay for drinks. So spent £6.50.
Need to spend this evening having a tidy up at home as Dad'll be home tomorrow at some point. I've got one load of washing in the drier at the moment, will sort and hang that on the ironing tidy to finish it off drying while I do a second load. Hoovered around upstairs and need to do downstairs. Ran the dishwasher over night last night so have put all the dishes away and put in any which didn't fit then. I've even remembered to put the bin out - although there are a couple of bags which don't fit in it (we forgot to put it out last time two weeks ago and having had my sister home and it being Christmas it's unusually full).
So am hoping I get brownie points for my domesticity. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

And £5 has been credited to my paypal account by mysurveys, another £5 to go from them, I guess it'll arrive next week. Currently there is £7 in my paypal account so I'll transfer it when that gets paid too. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Did it damage your car?

So you've stuck your sister in the wheelie bin then?

I know it was terribly unfair of them not to win without us!
Nope. Used my Dad's car, but Volvo's really are indestructable.
No I wouldn't put the body in the bin, far too likely to be found in there these days.
I do my best to avoid it when I can get someone else to do the domestic stuff for me.
Been at Mum's house Nana sitting for the evening so Mum and SD could get out for a few hours. She informed me that when she's better she's going to find me a nice man and I have to marry him, which is a worrying thought. Also that she prefers me spending time with her than my Aunt, Mum thinks its because I'm so calm when I'm there, my Aunt flaps and panics about silly little things. I did try to point out that it's not that I don't worry, but I'm just too lazy to display it - why waste the energy when it can't change anything
We also talked about why I don't attend services at our local Church anymore. It's something Mum and I have talked about as neither of us are regular church goers but lately have felt that we want to show our faces but feel we can't as we loathe the Vicar, and would feel hypocritical taking Communion from a man we would be quite content to never see or hear of again. Didn't manage to find a why to explain it to Nana without saying that and as the Vicar is my Aunts best friend/boyfriend (noones too sure which) the last thing we need is for Nana to say anything to Aunt. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Which is? The nice man, or the marrying?scubaangel wrote: »Also that she prefers me spending time with her than my Aunt, Mum thinks its because I'm so calm when I'm there, my Aunt flaps and panics about silly little things. No...good luck with resolving that particular problem.
What would you get (personally) out of attending church as opposed to what you're doing now?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I think it's having had Nana asking us to pray for her lately, and having come home, the church community as a whole has always been where I have friends - growing up although once I stopped going to Sunday School my activities were quite separate from the chuch (Brownies, Guides, Scouts, DofE etc) the leaders and alot of my peers were also part of the church too. So possibly part of it is at the moment feeling slightly isolated with not working and not having many of my close friends in our home town anymore and I know there will be people I know and was friendly with in the past there.
The other part is quite simply that although I wouldn't describe myself as a church goer I do have faith - and there has always been a level of peace and comfort drawn from going through the rituals within a familiar service. I obviously can't speak for my Mum but I suspect she feels similarly, she stopped attending church when he took over as lead Vicar but until then had attended when she could while she was living in the UK.
I could look at attending elsewhere but that wouldn't be at my church, where there are people I know.
I know Nana's funeral is going to be held there and from what my Step Dad has said she's even written it in her funeral plans that she doesn't want him to conduct the service. So thats going to be fun, as he's already telling us about the eulogy he wants to give for her (similarly when I told my parents about my first serious boyfriend the next time he saw me he informed me that he was already planning my wedding service - and no he wasn't joking  ).
I'm hoping some of that makes sense.
