No it isn't. I don't know if you counted how many times the words "cold" and "freezing" appeared. :rotfl:scubaangel wrote: »I'm beginning to wonder the same thing, unfortunately I don't have a pension to live on so really could do with finding a job at some point relatively soon - of course that's not down to me so I can only keep sending applications.

I didn't count them but then I do typically do a couple of days diving between Christmas and New Year so I can take a wild guess at how long it'll take to defrost my fingers and toes afterwards.
True just running in cycles between frustrated about not getting anywhere and just plain not caring as I prefer to be home to help Mum with Nana at the moment.
In the mean time Mum and I have appointments booked to get hair cuts tomorrow morning. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I can appreciate the frustration. You seem like a bit of a worker."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I've just been reminded that tomorrow is Wednesday. This is a problem as I have people coming to change the front tyres on my car between 0800 and 1200, as well as the appointment with the hair dressers at either 1030 or 1130. Lets hope they come early to do the tyres!
At the moment the plan is to get up when Dad leaves for work at 0700 and go for a run so I'm somewhat less likely to be still asleep if they do arrive by 0800.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Happily this morning worked out. Tyre people called at 0800 to let me know they'd be with me about 1030, so I sent Mum to the hairdresser first, tyres were sorted in under 20 minutes so I walked to the hairdresser to get mine done and was a good 20 mins early for my appointment.
I weighed myself before I left the house and again after I got home (and after having a brew and my lunch) and just losing a quantity of hair means I'm 1.6lbs lighter .
So to celebrate I went for a run. 3.4 miles in 45 minutes, I was reasonably pleased with that given the first two miles I was following the C25K intervals (still frustrating due to the intervals being 90secs walking and 60 secs jogging). Will do the third run tomorrow if I can be bothered/the weather is reasonable. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

If you stick at it, you'll soon be past that stage, and running like a nose.scubaangel wrote: »Will do the third run tomorrow if I can be bothered/the weather is reasonable.
There's a yellow warning of snow, but I don't think you'll be getting it. Yellow warnings of snow still make me laugh..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Nope from just above mid back to just longer than shoulder length. But I have thick fine hair, so it's also been layered and razor thinned out. Before it was thinned and layered pulling it in to a pony tail looked similar to a handful of spaghetti ends there was that much of it.
If the next couple of runs don't start to be more of a challenge I'll go back to my usual plan of just going out running a mixture of distances and walking as and when I feel the need to. Today I hit the annoying half mile slope in the middle of one of the walking intervals which was nice but not really the point given I don't want to keep needing to walk up the bloomin thing, I expect the next run will be at the same point as its the same intervals. But the 4th run (w2r1) has 90 second runs with 2minute walks so I suspect I'll hit the slope towards the end of the first running interval so will see how it feels. Have to admit today I did walk a little during a couple of the run sections as I missed the vocal cue for the change of pace.
Some how it makes me giggle slightly too. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Great weekend away, managed to go for a run along the banks of the Thames both mornings despite my hangovers.
No money earned and lots spent as expected. Now am back I need to get back in to good habits online - barely been on swagbucks or insta today so tomorrow I need to get back on and hit my targets. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I too had a great weekend away, and actually felt better the morning after than I do most normal mornings.

Yes, or you'll just end up watching daytime television...

Job hunting is so so, a few temp applications sent today and calls to the respective agencies but nothing permanent worth applying for has come up since last week.
I tend to avoid daytime tv by job hunting or going to see my Nana - if I don't just sleep through the day time that is!
How strange feeling better in the mornings than normal. Can't imagine mornings ever feeling good! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
