Currently trying to pack ready to go south for my interview but I can't find the jacket I want to take with me and apparently all the tights in the drawer have holes in them. So that's a trip to somewhere tomorrow evening to find those at least, am hoping I can get away with a black coat rather than a blazer/jacket otherwise I'll also need to explore supermarket clothing ranges to try and find one suitable.

Of course I then need to make sure it's clean and not crumpled ready for Wednesday mornings interview and my newly formed plans to go up the M6 to see a friend for dinner/coffee after work on Weds as well - I foresee myself being very tired and grumpy by the end of the week!

Well, chuck them out if they're no good. And maybe shoot the mice... ;)

You should be OK, provided you don't go out boozing... ;)

I'm not entirely sure what day, week or month it is anymore! Got home last night late and was shattered so straight to sleep and then only just got home tonight after a trip up to north of Lancaster for a couple of hours catching up with an old friend who is on a course there.

Interview in the south went very well, I was in for almost 2 hours and felt pretty relaxed throughout. The entire place is utterly stunning and it's website doesn't do it justice, although I suppose I was lucky that it was lovely weather.

This mornings interview up here was also good.

So I now have to wait and see.

Thanks I'm still a little bit stunned.

And feeling very overwhelmed with my to do list before they want me to start in not enough weeks to get organised time!

Still I've done it before and I'll manage again, this weekend I'm going to start looking for somewhere to lodge, then restart clearing out clutter from my room at Dad's as well as pull out my suitcases and start packing things I'll need in the short term.

Clothes, toiletries, that sort of thing. You can life from a suitcase for the first month or so. Give you enough time to get sorted properly.

    Only a month?

I'll be moving mid November, no chance I'm going to be back before Christmas and even then I'm not sure what the hours will be over the holidays - although given the culture of the organisation I suspect very limited if I'm expected to be there at all. Not to mention the very real possibility that I'll start after the payroll cut off for November so won't be paid until December so won't be able to afford to travel to retrieve or buy stuff I forget.

Trouble is 'clothes' covers all sorts of eventualities and as I'm not too sure what I'll be expected to wear to work is going to be a sticking point I suspect - my friend who works there for example gets away with denim skirts, tights, blouses and cardi's/jumpers but doesnt see much of the people visiting the site, while my entire role will be around the visitors.
