Or maybe trying making your car looks as uninviting as possible for others to park next to it, chav it up as much as you can stand. I think it's pretty ballsy that he caused the damage and left the vehicle there. I would've scarpered to the other side of the car park if I was him!0

Could work well, fixing it to the car with 6" nails should do the job nicely.
Of course not!
Epoxy resin. Would just need to get round the shops before it set too hard.
Seriously though, I bet that is all that is in those tubes. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -

Hmm you're right, balls or stupidity.... I'd go for the latter :j0 -

Police may think its Data Protection, but its actually covered under Regulation 27 of the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002.
V888 form and £2.50 and DVLA will readily supply the information.
Number of people that misquote the DPA is disgusting.0 -
Problem is, without a witness or a clear picture from CCTV you have no evidence it was the Tiguan, they could very easily say it was a car that was in the space before them.0

Yes , I know the marks appeared to line up etc etc and I am sure it was them , but unless you are actually in the car ...
Mind you , I was a passenger waiting in a car a while ago when someone reversed into it and damaged front bumper , it clearly rocked the car and they still tryed to deny it they had hit it !!0 -
Old fella hit my car in a Tesco carpark, I had a witness, old boy still tried to deny doing it, gave it the "i've been driving 180 years and never had an accident" line.
It took an age to get through the insurance, cost me more than the £50 it would have been for the repairs (a few minor scratches).
Wish now i'd just gone over to his car and jumped up/down on the bonnet a few times.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Of course you can't control who will come and park next to you, but as well as parking well away from the entrance to a supermarket I avoid parking next to 4X4s, cars with kiddy-seats, and 2 door cars.
2 Door cars have bigger doors to allow the rear seat occupants easier access, but they usually haul themselves out by hanging on the door and shoving it hard against the car parked next to them.
You often notice that expensive cars are parked at the extreme end of a supermarket car-park - even company cars - as the leasing company checks them very carefully and charges for dents and scrapes.0
