Thanks Fed Up! Yes indeed, the 2k saving is lovely, not to mention the more than 3k saving I made by using House Network instead of the high street agents who wanted to charge me 4k on a 200k sale. £750 with HN. What's not to like?!

Hi Newly - 20 weeks with no exchamge? What on earth is going on there? I had to get really shirty with both my own solicitor and the buyer's sol in the end, and even issued an ultimatum that I was prepared to stick to, so do be as assertive as possible if you can. 15 weeks was appalling for me (no chain sale to FTB), but 20 weeks is excruciating. Good luck with it anyway!0 -
We exchanged this week, after around 9-10 weeks. Such a relief as this is the second house we've been involved with buying this year, but the first sale fell through around the valuation stage.
Our seller's on holiday for two weeks now, so we've agreed a completion date of 18th October. So happy!0
