Have used my Steam-mop a few times now and love it! Don't care about how much it will cost for replacement filters/heads, use of electric or whatever else is trying to put a dampener on this item.
No-one thinks about the cost of gas/electric when heating the water to mop the floors etc. No-one thinks about the cost of electric for using your vacuum, hair-dryer, straighteners, washing machines whatever else you use.
I will save money in detergents, trying to find a decent mop, then having replace the mop heads, more often the list goes on lol.
If you don't like the mop then fine, but I'd be surprised if you are able to return it after using it. ANd as a customer myself, I'd be really annoyed if I were to receive an item that has already been used to clean someone else's floors etc.
Also why then come and try and find faults in it when the rest of us are happy with our purchase??

I have just ordered mine and am looking forward to getting rid of the mop and bucket! I've switched to using the "No More Chemicals" cloths with great success, allowing me to dispense with various cleaning products, and hopefully this purchase will continue

No want to sound dumb but what is the triangle attachment for, ive been using it without it. Would have been helpful if it had come with better instructions on usage!thanks0

I'm also happy about the eco-friendly aspect of cleaning without chemicals, so the fact that this product just uses water is great!
Personally I do actually think it'll take quite a while for this new mop to pay for itself in my household as the mops/buckets/detergents we used to use are relatively inexpensive, but for me this purchase is not about money-saving. As well as the chemical-free aspect, the fact that it cleans at a higher temperature and the mop-heads (pads) can be put in the washing machine, this purchase is mainly about labour-saving....which is a BIG draw! The steam mop a lot easier to use than a mop and bucket so I'm inclined to mop more often!
I never would've bought one if this deal hadn't come along and made me think more about it, so thanks again everyone!0 -

The triangle attachment is for when you wish to use the steam mop on carpets and rugs, it enables "easy glide" sop the mop moves around with no problem or drag.

You also have the cost of the electricity, appliances that produce heat are general high electricity consumers.
Yes he does the kitchen and bathroom tiled floors with a mop and bucket , I do everywhere else (carpets and hardwood)
Don't forget you are not compelled to purchase the VAX branded mop heads as there is a wide market out there and some of the cheaper store branded fit just as well and do the same job!0 -

The will need changing they aren't going to last forever
......and a normal mop head lasts forever ?0 -
I've got my steam mop and tried it yesterday.
The mop cleaned the floor really well, but left wet water marks.
Does any one know how I can get rid of the water marks?0 -
I love mine, I bought 2 new replacement cover things in sainsburys for £1.99 and I find these even better than the one it came with. I love the fact that there isn't any chemicals involved, especially when there are animals and children in the house.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0
