Love mine but must admit that the first time I tried it I wasn't too impressed as it took ages to use as really hard to push on my kitchen tiled stone floor, but second time I used it was really good so much faster and quicker than mop and bucket and floor is much cleaner too

I put a bit of zoflora in my water tank which smells great

My mop arrived today and I followed your tip re the Zoflora - my whole house smells lovely - I used the Spring Bouquet (lots of variety in Poundland). I started with the kitchen then freshened up the carpets in hall and living room. Very impressed!

For anyone who hasn't managed to get a mop at Argos, I picked up a S88 W1M-B in Sainsburys today for £19.99. They had 2 or 3 in a clearance section - no idea if it is store specific and it doesn't appear to be on their website. It's this one in Argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4068505.htm

    Hope it helps someone :-)

I just used mine for the first time, not sure its that great.
Was expecting whooshes of steam, but can't even tell its steaming unless I lift it off the floor. Seemed like the steam just wets the cloth rather than steaming the floor.
Didnt really know how much to press the trigger and the floor was damp when finished.

I'll try it again before I decide what to do.

floor should not be wet. sounds like you are keeping the trigger pulled. in the instructions it says -" use the trigger in short blasts."
this allows the steam to form and keeps the floor dry.

Have u got a product code for these items mate? As when ever I ring up to my local Sainsburys to check for stock they always say they don't stock it even though its a superstore. (I'm sure they don't check properly).
Giving them a product will make it a lot easier.

    Thanks
  • None in my Sainsburys either, just their own brand

Yeah the 1.99 pads are part number 1-1-130625-01 (barcode 5012512131382) and the box with the different pads (7.49) are part number 1-1-131864-00 (barcode 5012512135090)
