Just logged onto Experian to get details of how to cancel and my credit score has gone from fair to good!! I know it doesn't really mean anything but that was quite a nice little bit of motivation to keep going!

All cancelled! Phew! And managed to be firm and say no to dodgy sales tactics. That's an extra £20.98 I'm not wasting anymore.

Husband has just phoned. He's working all weekend (lovely lovely overtime!!) so has asked if we can go to PC world tonight as he's been saving up for a monitor for his computer and has enough to get it now. I'm really chuffed for him but it's going to be hard to look at all those lovely shiny Macbooks without being tempted!! I'm going to use it as an inspiration mission, kind of a "This is what you could get if you had no debt!". Oh that rhymes.. maybe that should be my little mantra.

Also got to pop round to Mother in Law's on my way home as she is looking for jobs but is awful on the internet. Apparently Tesco are taking on but only accept online applications, so I'm going to go round there and help her fill everything in.

They're awful Helen. Tried to lure me in with free alerts service, no hassle, no charge, etc. Yeah it's only free until you have to start paying for it a year later, by which time of course you've completely forgotten about it!

Also the cheeky beggers at Equifax offered to keep my subscription going for half price. This p*sses me off so much with companies! If they are able to offer something at a better price then why don't they!! Car insurance are the same, you get a quote for renewal which is £200 more than last year, you tell them you've found a better deal, then all of a sudden they can match it. Pah! Whatever mate, you've lost me already by you're dodgy, underhand, money grabbing tactics!!:mad:

Right must dash, job applications to fill in for Mother in law!:j

Well I've had a pretty busy morning so far. Cleaned the kitchen, done the hoovering and done the big Tesco shop. Remembered to use my clubcard coupons which got me £3.25 off the shop whoop whoop! Also chose to use the new click and collect service so I will go pick it all up tomorrow. If I'd had it delivered tomorrow it would have cost another £6 so a good saving there.

I'm just chilling out now waiting for the butter that was in the fridge to get a bit soft so that I can bake some cupcakes. Husband is at work doing as much overtime as he can. He might be working tomorrow as well, I miss him but it'll be worth it come the end of the month.

We did go to PC world yesterday and he got his monitor, he was really chuffed as the one he wanted which was £200 was in the sale so only cost £129.99!! So a great saving for him there as well. I had a look at all the shiny MacBooks and am even more determined to work my butt off to get it.

I run our lottery syndicate at work and yesterday I collected everyone's 50ps. Then I by the ticket online using my money. As I have a new rule of any change that is left in my purse at the end of the day goes in the sealed pot that means yesterday I put £4.91 in! Hopefully we win the lottery as well!

I thought today would be a NSD (big shop doesn't count as its a budgeted for joint expense), but then I remembered that I ordered some stuff last month from a friend who does body shop at home and she is delivering it today. So that's £35 I have to give her. The only good thing is it was a mega deal and I get 15 different products for that price so I reckon I shouldn't be needing any new lotions or potions for a food while now!

It's really sunny here today so depending what time hubby gets home we might take the hound out for a nice walk somewhere. I'd like to go to the beach but because our car is on its last legs we can't venture too far from home, so will probably just be over the woods and back.

Hope everyone else is having a lovely day so far! Xxx

Well it's been a busy day in the wegle household. Hubby went off to work early and I slept in till 10 O'clock!!!! Eventually dragged myself out of bed so I could get to Tesco to collect my shopping. It does make me laugh with done of the substitutions they but in. I'd ordered some vegetarian sausages (because I'm a veggie), they didn't have any so instead replaced them with meat cocktail sausages!! Random or what. Had to pop in to the shop then to find more appropriate substitutions but didn't spend any extra.

Also popped to the pet shop to get food for the hound. His food was reduced by a pound so I bought him a big rawhide shoe as a treat. I spoil him rotten!!!

Afternoon has been spent making lemon meringue pie for the hubster and making a huge batch of egg mayonnaise for us to use in sandwiches for work next week. No more popping to the shops for lunch!!

Found a sneaky 1p in the car so I've put it in my pot.

Now we're all just relaxing. Hubby is playing his truck game on his computer ANC me and the hound are curled up on the sofa watching Luther. What a thrilling life we lead!!

Just dropping in on my lunch break to check in.

Been a busy morning at work and I've just done my online surveys in my lunch break. I'm starting to rack up a bit of cash in those but I'm not going to count it towards anything until it is in my bank account.

Hoping that today will be a NSD, and I've even left my wallet at home so that I'm not tempted to spend whilst I'm out!

I've got a couple of not budgeted for expenses this month but I think I can squeeze them in. I've got a dentist check up which will cost at least £17.50 for the check up and I'm pretty sure he's going to have to refer me for at least 2 fillings and I need to have a crown put on a root canal treated tooth from last year, not sure how much that'll all cost but probably in the region of £250, I'll have to wait and see. I also have veneers on my front 8 teeth and one came off the other week and I swallowed it! Oops! This will have to be done privately and will cost around £500 however it doesn't look overly noticeable and its not causing any pain or problems eating so I'm just going to leave it until I'm able to save up the money for it. The other expense is I NEED to send out our thank you cards from the wedding. I've got about 30 to send with about 5 being overseas, not sure how much this will cost but hopefully less than £20.

Got to go to the hospital on Wednesday for a lady check up, that doesn't bother me but what does is the ridiculous parking charges you have to pay and they are always running late so I end up paying a fortune. Oh well it should be worth it for my health and it is a budgeted for expense as that is the £5 car parking in my SOA.

I'm going to list a couple of items on ebay tonight. I've got a fair bit of stuff that we bought for the wedding that we don't need anymore and don't want to keep in our memory box, so I'm going to sort through and get some listed. I need to make sure I understand Royal Mail's new pricing though so I don't get stung on that.

I've sent an enquiry off to cash4coins so fingers crossed they get back in touch today and I can change up all my euros that I have. I found 39.67 in euros around the house yesterday. That's roughly £25!! Need to get that in my account so it can go towards the CC.
