Very relieved and happy thanks guys :D, OH has just done an emergency run to the shop for more cat food and treats, we had a box of 6 sachet food and some of those 'posh' mini tins but he's really getting through them. I guess he's not been getting much to eat :(. Still he's home now :).

Sounds as though he's got shut in somewhere. My childhood cat got shut in a neighbour's garage when they went on holiday. Fortunately Dad heard him calling and managed to get the door open to release him.

Yay.....good news, mine was the same, very hungry, jumpy, and crying and purring a lot. Glad he's back safe and sound.

Bet he hasn't said where he's been so you know for any next time...they never do. Anyhow you can relax now and enjoy the weekend.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

sniff him! I know it sounds a bit strange - but a petrol smell could mean he got locked in a garage, a sort of compost smell can mean a garden shed - see where I am going?

I am so glad he is back! be careful about giving him too much food! oops too late!

That's brilliant, I'm soooo pleased for you. He's definitely been shut in somewhere, or down a hole. I bet he doesn't wander too far in future. You must be so relieved.
