One thing I did see in the 99p shop was Vesta Beef Curry. I used to love that years ago but doubt I would now.

My parents used to eat those Vesta curry packs :D

Chicken and mushroom pot noodle - about two a year, lol.
    Chicken noodles.
    Cup-a-soup.
Young's Admiral's Pie - my fish pie is quite good, but I just cannot replicate Young's sauce.
Brace's bread - because my bread is rubbish.
    Tinned Tomato soup.
    Tinned rice pudding.
Very occasional Morrison's cheap frozen pizza.

    I'm not ashamed :p:D

Farmfoods Chicken Kiev. Probably not much chicken in them and full of fat but just delicious!

Bird's custard - try as I might I can not make custard and when I need comfort food all I want is custard!

Value chicken noodles - have to be cooked just right though! And that's only if I'm not feeling stellar, gentle on the stomach and easy to make :)

Urghhhh everything mentioned so far makes me want to go _pale_

The one thing I will admit to though is Heinz Tomato Soup. There's simply nothing that can match it and is my "go to" comfort food

Me too - it's the only tinned soup I like.

I love granary bread and fresh fish......... but when it comes to a fish finger sandwich it has to be cheap plasticy white bread funny-creature-chewing-smiley-emoticon.gif

Same here but I have to have a cheese slice and a dollop of tartare sauce on it.

I buy ready made custard. My last attempt at making real custard in the microwave resulted in a jug shaped solid object which my kids swore would make an exellent dog toy.

'By Sainsburys' tomato soup is better than Heinz and only 50p a tin. Give it a try, you won't be able to fault it.

Bought one for my DH recently (for the nostalgia)!!

He took it to work and said it was delicious (not kidding) and everyone gathered around wanting to try it and saying how good it smelt/looked :D

Vesta is now highly in demand there!!
