I could say it feels like you are bullying me via this post...of course you are not.
Just because some accuses someone else of bullying doesn't mean this is the case...even if they genuinely feel like it is.
It really is you know.0 -
Is she fat?0

Based on your OP it sounds like your wife is being overly sensitive but you then say that there is more. What is the more?
Your wife is now a mother and will one day have to stand up for her children, firstly she has to learn to stand up for herself.
She doesn't need to go OT with all guns blazing as if its just being called "fatty" in a joking way because she's heavily pregnant it's an over reaction and will cause tension. All she needs to say next time it happens is "please don't call me fat as I already feel fat and it upsets me and draws attention to my figure".
I work in an office and we have quite a bit of banter and sometimes you sense that what you may have said has hit a nerve. A quiet apology and remembering never to repeat keeps a good atmosphere.

Not helpful. It doesn't matter if she is or isn't, the fact that her boss has mentioned it is making her feel uncomfortable and this is not acceptable.
But it's a fair question because if she is "fat" then calling her "fat" would imply the person is being nasty. If she is normally a stick insect then now she has a bump would imply it's more jokey comment.

Yea I think it does matter a little as if she was usally size 8 with a bump being called fat she could more easily take it on the chin but if your size 22 with a bump so could be considered 'large' normally then I think even being pregnat getting called fatty would be to far...People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -

I don't need to believe...I know
And I feel just fine ....thanks for your concern.
But just in case you start bullying me I have put you on the blocked list.
