The buyer pulled out. No reason given, just disappeared and didn't return any calls. Well, that's what the EA told me. I have to believe they were being honest for my sanity. Fair enough, I suppose if the person didn't want the place and couldn't face explaining why.

I think that paragraph highlights the weaknesses of our buying and selling process.0 -
I'm a she, BTW,;) and I was reading the posts offline as my computer logs me out if there's been no activity for ten mins. But you feel free to hijack this thread, I've gotten lots of support and advice already and feeling much more positive.:D
Danke, the place looks very nice,neat and clean. If I was to boldly offer advice, I might suggest that you put up a few nice pictures/paintings, just to round it off. The walls look bleak so maybe a bit of colour on them(not by painting, just by hanging up a picture or two) will bring things together.
I am ashamed to say, I do like watching House Doctor or shows where properties are shown up to their full potential. You look at them and think: I have to have it!
Some very easy to maintain plants would be good too. Maybe a small one in the bathroom. Just to make it interesting.
Please do not be offended, I was just speaking off the cuff. :-)0 -
Oooh, I went past there on the bus just the other day... (going to the beer festival
)
It does look like a nice flat, in a nice building, and a really reasonable price for a period 2-bed in Zone 3 (I know the area quite well as I lived in the Ladywell/Catford area for three years).
Completely off topic but Melissa, I was at York too and my email address was rse100...
