I have 9 working days left and I would like to set a target of 8 days to bring my lunch to work as I have 1 day where I am out for lunch but it is covered by expenses.

Hello, hope everyone had a good weekend.
Day 10/19 for me. Yoghurt & cereal bar for breakfast & turkey sandwiches with snack bag of butterkist as a treat for lunch yum yum (£1 for 6 bags from poundland). Kept warm with the free tea & coffee provided by my work but think I might bring soup tomorrow. :j
Not a NSD today as spent £5 on some kiddies books from charity shop to give away to an overseas literacy charity as I didnt have any kiddies books in the house. Hopefully wont have to spend too much more this week though.0 -
Whoo hoo kittie :T
OH aka Bunter was supposed to take to work the half a loaf of pain de campagne he didn't finish at the weekend plus cheese and use up the stuff he has in the fridge eg butter, piccalilli and Branston before he changes jobs. He also had yogurt to take for breakfast.
Instead he took two packs of rolls so 8 rolls, a tin of baked beans, and a beef and vegetable pasty. Left behind his yogurt, the cheese and the half loaf. :mad:0 -

Managed to take boring BLT sarnies to work today. Got a lift to work with a colleague.
Even worse news re the car, cant be bothered to go into the ins and outs of it, but basically the price has now increased to £560
Can't afford it, but i have no choice...cant work without the car. I dont even have that amount of money
Sorry for the moan, but i have nowhere else to vent.0 -
Hi Trixie, how many days do you want me to put you down for?
Well done :TKarma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
WTBSE - really sorry to hear your bad news
you already knew it would be £400 so I am guessing you could cover that? Would the garage do the work and you pay them as much as you possibly can now and then more when you get paid? Maybe say you thought it was only going to be £400 and hadn't budgeted for more.
I don't know who you work for but would you be able to get an emergency loan to cover the rest? Are there any direct debits you could cancel this time to free up money?
Apart from savings, family and friends and selling items I can only think of one way but it's not ideal so don't want to say it really.
PS don't worry about venting, better to vent than explode.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000
