I start bothering about christmas in december, dont always have a tree up, am self employed so no night out to go to apart from a couple of meals with a meet up group I belong to.
I appreciate why there is the hype, for people who have kids, but I spend what I can afford, dont get into debt over it and cant see why theres such a rush to start selling mince pies in August in shops.

Summer isn't over yet. We still have autumn, Hallowe'en and Guy Fawkes Night to come before Christmas. Not saying don't plan and budget for it but do enjoy the time at hand. Life is too short to be wishing it away.
