Still emotive and would indicate conscious choice rather than instinctive prey drive.
It wont be a problem from 4 I have sorted out a bunny rescue they will foster it and if the mythical owners turn up they will be able to get from there.
Was good to talk to a place that didnt think id done anything wrong:p0 -
From an older post:mellymoo74 wrote: »As stated another resident is watching the rabbit for their sister it is being fed I am ensuring it has greens and making sure its water is fresh.
Do you know where this other resident lives?
If they have ignored your 3rd note, maybe they are unable (for some reason) to go down and renew food and water.
Especially as you posted this today:mellymoo74 wrote: »Its a good job im a busy body poor thing had no water when I went to check on it last night I have also given it some hay (stands back and prepares to be told she is evil for feeding someone else's rabbit :rotfl: )
Maybe take this advice:
If he doesn't get fresh food or water, that gives the RSPCA a bit more power to act because the owner/carer is then neglecting the rabbit's needs.0 -
Or you could have reported it as abandoned to the RSPCA when you noticed it wasn't getting water - that is something they can take action on, unlike the hutch size or location, and the rabbit could be legally seized and rehomed through the proper procedures.
You criticized the fact that they wouldn't do anything, but it's actions like yours that prevent them from being able to follow procedure in cases like this.0 -
Thanks pollycat gotta a bunny rescue coming out at 4 they will foster for a couple of weeks.
Have put notes through giving the nane and time they are coming. Just got some clean bedding from my friend theyre gonna help me clean the hutch now (it smells bad)
The probkem with the bloody garden is there isnt an area shady enough and its really hot out there wanna get it cleqn to try and stop the flies can have a proper look at it then check its ok.0 -

I didn't say you had done anything wrong specifically regarding the welfare of the rabbit.0 -

It's no wonder people are beginning to lose patience with an attitude like this.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Yep mythical as in work of fiction.
I think it was got as a pet for one of the residents small children and they didnt appreciate the work involved. If it was being minded and was going on Fri it would have gone by Sat at the latest instead noones been out to it.
Bunny wouldn't appreciate the difference but owner would its why you keep them seperate.0 -

And people have 'lost patience' from the start. I love when I bite back its attitude yet its fine to slag someone off for ensuring an animals welfare0
