On the contrary Mr Green Genes I find Plymouth truly inspirational!
Have a gas bill due any day and am going to base payment negotiation on what I have learned from them.
ot entirely sure if it will work, but is nonetheless worth a try!0 -
Hang in there they do honestly get better.
We only ever became involved with them as for some reason I was being pursued as the NRP! Was interviewed regarding this which was scary until I rediscovered my sense of humour!
Sadly however the interviewer did not see the funny side to tell the child that he did not in fact live with me and to please tell it to stop following me around!
Ok so maybe had a touch of undiagnosed PND!0 -

Bolton is the single most useless office in the entire CSA. From my dealings with them, it seems that the collective IQ of the whole place may just about reach that of my cat.
I feel that this is a bit harsh. I can understand your resentment and anger but at CSA Bolton, it isn't actually the CSA. It is outsourced to a different company who pay crap money and have !!!!!! training!! So I've been told!!Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -
Glad you liked it!!0

Hey, so the CSA aren't as bad as they are made out to be?! :rotfl: They are bad, but at least they have a rough understanding of what to do (in most cases) whereas an outside company haven't a clue - heaven help us when C-MEC come in as they are supposed to be non-CSA staff (well some anyway).:eek:0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: How did they react? Did they laugh or what? I would have been so embarrassed if I had been sent to interview you! Hope you got an apology - have you asked for a special payment for the inconvenience you have been caused? Have you received an explanation as to why you were classed as the NRP - I am intruiged to know.0 -

(Information contained in a Parliamentary written answer by James Plaskitt, Parliamentary Under-Secretary, DWP on 24 May 2007. It's amazing what you can pick up from the pages of Hansard, isn't it?)
Btw I do know about Vertex.Information is not knowledge.
Knowledge is not wisdom.
Wisdom is not truth.

And they are being offered even less than inflation pay rises this year! We are treated so well in Civil Service!0

But if you believe the Daily Mail we are all earning absolute fortunes and have gold-plated pensions to look forward to. They seem to not understand the difference between a Senior civil servant and the bog standard civil servant! Most of us are the latter. There is no support for civil servants as Jo public believe what the Daily Mail prints which does nothing to help public services. Most staff have good hearts but have a very difficult job to do with very limited resources and stupid, ridiculous targets to reach and penalties if they are not reached. I'm not defending the truly useless ones who do exist in all of the civil service but the majority try their best.0

No actual explanation was ever given to me as to why I was being pursued as NRP and don't expect one to be forthcoming at any point as this happened almost seven years ago.
Initially interviewer seemed slightly suspicious but I went to great lengths to reassure him that my son in fact lived with me and that the nursery, toys, baby clothes, nappies, baby foods, and numerous medical appointments were due to this and not some sick fettish on my part.
Not sure if he stayed in the job for long after though as he seemed a little bewildered/overwhelmed by the whole situation. On the other hand I was laughing my socks off!0
