ebay down

Bought 2 things 2 hours ago (via ebay.co.uk). Seems to be working fine for me since 11:30 or thereabouts.

Fine, but as a seller, I'm getting emails to say things are sold but they aren't sold in eBay so these items wont be dispatched. Very annoying as it's bank holiday weekend too,

I'm still unable to revise my Multi Variation listings.
So Ebay is still messed up in some areas.

Glad it's not just me......every time I try to revise a multi-variation listing my photo and description disappears!

The ebay site being down made the lunchtime news bulletins (on Radios 1 and 5 anyway) - an apology was given that the maintenance had taken longer than anticipated but no promise of compensation................

You want a lot, I'm still waiting for a decent apology for when they 'accidentally' cancelled all my listings.

Amazingly this coincides with the first big stock order I've had in a while. So lots of new listings, some revisions and plenty of relists to do today.

I use three browsers, Chrome is terrible, Internet Explorer not much better, Firefox seems to be having more luck.

I was going to see what the complaints were like on the PowerSeller boards but they seem to have disappeared. I feel like I've come back from a long holiday to find the world has all changed.

The PS board has vanished, you have to sign in again and then you just get the error message. Not much on any of the other boards, but then I did try to post and got kicked to the help pages.

I managed to log into SG this morning and list/process orders but I can't do anything much on the UK site. I have managed a bulk edit to change a couple of prices and quantities but other than that, it's been slower than a slow thing on a slow day. Sales are just coming in now in the last half hour.

three items on a 3 day auction - due to first tomorrow morning, surprised as no bids today- they show up in a search but I can't views via " my sales" link nor revise, ( says does not exist) and not sure people can bid.

So with 0, 1 & 2 bids on these 3 items - unless sorted it might mean I'm getting 0p, 99p and 2.99
wonder if I should pull if no more bids showing in morning?

Will you be able to though, that's the thing?
I still haven't been able to revise any of my listings, but i was able to pay my Ebay fees though.....funny that.

No cries for compensation from me, RFW - all my listings are BINs and Friday (during the day) is usually the slowest day of the week for me, anyway. Just wondering if they'll offer to do anything for anyone with auctions that finished today.

Am :eek: at the thought of them 'accidentally' cancelling all your listings! You must have been furious!
