This is the worst i've seen the Friday problem be, they really shouldn't allow auctions to end on Friday mornings because sellers who don't know about it won't be getting fair prices on their auctions. I know they do at least put it in the announcements now that there will be general maintenence but they don't warn people that they won't be able to bid half the time because watch lists won't be visible and ebay won't work.

It's a complete disaster. They should be thinking about backing out changes and bringing the systems back up. You wont get a real explanation from eBay because it's a PR disaster and this kind of thing worries shareholders.
