Loads of whoopsied over ripe tomatoes scalded a skins peeled
Couple of chopped onions
Couple of chopped carrots
Herbs and seasoning
Tomato paste
I added a teaspoon Of sugar too
Would have liked celery and fresh basil but hey ho:)
Simmered for an hour and then blitzed in a blitzy thing
Tastes a million times better than anything out of a jar and will cost about 12p a portion for 4 ( whoopsied toms) before other ingredients are added.
I will make a stew with it today using courgettes, aubergines chorizo and chillies
Looks scrummy TM. :T
I've took a screenshot of it and shall give it a whirl in the week.
I think you should write a elite cookbook, your piccy's always make everything look so yummyand you instructions are minimal (my kinda cooking) :j

The thermostat is set at 10 degrees, and it was 9 out this morning. I'll turn it down lower, cheers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I cant remember which one they use, but think they only use one (like dr O did)
I cant believe they ask for so many packs from a list of specific codes. It would take forever to find particular ones even if you did have them all to handApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Worth phoning them perhaps to see/suggest it might be a computer problem?
Whoops, sorry Midwinter. Should have refreshed page before posting. I looked up Keele's accommodation info and unless they have to have a percentage of people being catered for, it doesn't look as if certain accom is catered and the rest not. So it really may be an admin glitch. I hope so much that it is sorted, especially as it looks as if lunch is not included, unless I am reading the page wrongly.
Good luck!0 -
