I manage to get quite alot of these from work so input 10 at a time every day , they are always zeros not o's.
I cut them out of the packet and then staple 10 at a time together as they always ask me to send 30 codes to them. its easier for me to count. hth

What is the biggest prize you've claimed and did they just ask you to send any 30 codes or do they give you a list to pick 30 from?

  • No mistake, the heating was definitely on. The rads were all on

mine came on for no apparent reason last week too, OH checked it all out and put it down to the battery needed replacing in the thermostat unit on the wall...
just a thought but could yours be the same problem?

    Yesterday's shop. Nothing surprising:

    1 x ASDA Smartprice Red Kidney Beans in Water (400g) £0.27 £0.21
    1 x Kingsmill Really Seeded Bread (800g) £1.00 £0.50
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Marrowfat Processed Peas in Water ... £0.21 £0.17
    1 x ASDA Easy Cook Long Grain Rice (4Kg) £4.78 £4.50
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Sliced Carrots in Water (300g) £0.20 £0.20
    0.13 x ASDA Carrots per kg £0.12 £0.11
    0.17 x ASDA Onions per kg £0.15 £0.15
0.16 x ASDA Royal Gala Apples per kg £0.31 £0.31

Off to big ASDA this morning to get a chicken. Thought I had missed that one.

Thanks to the OP who mentioned DTD gammon in Tesco. Found one yesterday and was well chuffed. Cooked it in the slow cooker in an old can of cider and it's lovely, though next time will try adding honey. Going to get out my electric slicer (rdc some years ago!) later as that makes it go much further. Am going to make ham and pea soup with the stock once any fat has solidified.

Used tinned carrots with old potatoes not even fit for mashing to make carrot and coriander soup yesterday because my coriander is trying to seed. Doesn't really need fresh coriander thought the floating green bits look nice. Will remember to do this again in future as it was really lovely and those tinned carrots are horrible otherwise.

Simmered for an hour and then blitzed in a blitzy thing

Tastes a million times better than anything out of a jar and will cost about 12p a portion for 4 ( whoopsied toms) before other ingredients are added.
I will make a stew with it today using courgettes, aubergines chorizo and chillies :)

that looks lovely TM ... but there is something missing ....

    Clucky :D:D
