    yes I know!! lol :p:p

Im not on the ball with things at all this year!! Actually getting a holiday and DS1 unexpectedly getting the uni place has thrown things in to disarray. Not to mention Ive had some unexpected jobs myself in the last few months.

..........Im nowhere near getting myself sorted for my own uni course

once the kids start school you will have more time for yourself and get yourself sorted xx

Cat food meat favorites still worked from my A shop done 3 hours ago. I just hope my cat lives long enough to get through it all. I think she prefers it to her usual felix anyway. Got lots of the Sheba chunks a while ago when they glitched but she went off that.

I have a mini mser too I have discovered. Over the hols we went to buy her a bike from halfords and when the sales guy asked her if she liked the colours she said "well yes but I don't think we like the prices" :rotfl:

Also friend told her the other day "you don't get anything in life for free". To which she replied " you do if you have coupons otherwise you have to pay 4p at tesco". Got to love it. She is going to be totally money savvy when older as she only 9

Clarkes is a dream compared to here. We go to the start-rite factory shop (seconds but you can never tell why always beautiful shoes) down from £40 to £20.

We got there at 9am and 47th yes 47th !!!!! In line they have such a bad wait they play movies in the second room for kids to watch. So we waited well over an hr only to be told they have nothing in dd size anyway so we had to buy brand new :(

I dream of clarks lol but have to try and get shoes as cheap as I can

How kids are spoilt nowadays! :rotfl::rotfl:
When I was in school - many, many years ago we had a Tuf factory about 10 miles away! (height of fashion-NOT!)
They had a guarantee that IF they wore out/had faults within a year that they would replace the damned things.

I used to turn over slightly on the heels (flat of course!) - so every year they would be replaced for free. ALL the time I was in secondary school - 7 years I had out of 1 replaced pair!!! They had to be lace up and brown.

Trouble is, living in Wales we have LOTS of pretty steep hills. We lived a mile up a steep hill (bus was at bottom) The school was a mile up an equally steep hill (bus at bottom). It was so steep that buses couldn't go up there with ease. If we did get a bus up, often half way up it used to shudder to a stop & we'd all have to get out, leaving just the people on the bus that had paid - none of us 'season ticket' lot.:D

OK in the summer BUT in the winter those damned Tufs didn't have any grip at all so going up/down the hills was precarious at best. Hope there was a fence/branch handy for when I started skidding/falling. It was often better to ride down them on my satchel on snowy/icy days - inadvertently often (as young ladies from our posh grammar were NOT supposed to do!)

You could ALWAYS tell who was wearing Tufs!:rotfl::rotfl:

The only benefit of all those hills was I've often been told 'You have lovely calves' - Yep they got THAT much exercise!

She's a veggie unfortunately but my kids aren't so they might like it, probably nicer and more healthy than the Rustlers I've been giving them.
