I went to a medium sized Tesco yesterday and something strange happened.
I got the £6 meal deal (2 Korma & 2 Mini rolls) and some other things to make up to 10 items.
Went to the self serve, and started scanning. After I'd scanned the 3rd item (which was a Korma meal) I scanned both the mini rolls, then noticed the screen had something on it for £60  and it was described a 'Mixed Case'.
I hadn't scanned anything for that price, so I pressed the 'cancel item' bit to go up to see what I had scanned, and then called the young SA who 1st looked in my bag to see what I had, then cancelled one of the Kormas (don't know why), then cancelled the £60 'Mixed Case' (I noticed it had an age thingy on it so must be alcohol).
Then the SA re-scanned the Korma for me and left.
We were all baffled as to how this £60 item got on the screen.
The meal deal offer price didn't come off either so I got double the diff back
I got a PP for £2.10.
Another strange thing is that one of the kormas is missing from the PP results?
hi everyone
i had a voucher or something miss-scan today at sada's
at the ss till i used my apg's £3.51& £2.16 and a £1.50 pizza voucher,
anyhow sa authorized it without checking, i put no money in and it gave me £1.85.
somehow it picked up a voucher £8.01.

Obviously I survived, but only just!!
Well I have not survived today can someone please pick me up off the floor an pour me a huge brandy.
£272 spent on DD3 for hair and media make up kits for college. And not anything electrical in sight.
I already have 75% off hairbrushes from Boots stashed away and heap loads of make up incl. lots of 10p superdrug bargains from ages ago.
Total spend will be over £400 incl uniform, ed visits and books etc. Not had to do anything like this before as other 2 stayed on at 6th form.
Bit of a shock to the system how little you get for your money in the 2 kits.0 -

I have been reading more and more about the cashback deals you are all getting through various apps and wanting to join in, but do not have a smartphone, as the nexus 4 has just dropped in price and has very good reviews, would some knowledgeable person kindly tell me if I purchase this phone will I be able to get the relevant apps you are all using for cashback as it seems this phone works on a different system to the iphones (i'm a complete novice in this area and don't want to buy the wrong phone to do this stuff) Many thanks.0

Evening gang - I've just had a lazy day today. Knees hurt last night after the walking I did at Poole, so unsettled night but slept till after midday. Then we have been looking at cottages in North East for a holiday next year - earmarked a couple so will keep looking for something more :money: Unless of course I can persuade my sis or niece to go away at mid/end of August and we can stay at one of their houses as we have done in the past
;)

NSDs for rest of month for me.
If they had given me the list I reckon I could have got all the makeup for everyone on the course for the price it has cost just for DD3.
The kit does not include any nail polishes and she is hoping to do that as one of her options. £5 a bottle in the wholesaler, bet she has to have the proper stuff and not the No17 I paid pennies for.
Still it is her dream, and hopefully it will all be worth it.0
