MSE News: Card protection mis-selling: Are you due share of £1.3 billion?

I'm another one who was sold ID Aware from Lloyds TSB back in August 2011 till October 2012, before I realised I was wasting my money. I had suffered from some fraudulent activity on my account and was given a very hard sell from the customer service person on the phone. I remember saying that I would have to think about it but they persisted and really had me worried about ID theft, losing money and having my credit rating destroyed. I finally gave in and was passed through to another department. I don't know how they can say that they did not sell CPP :mad:Mortgage Free in 3-T2 : Started at £151,000 Nov. 2009 Mortgage Free Oct 1st 2015

I've been with Barclays for 38+ years and got a Barclaycard in c. 1980. At some stage in the early days I took out cover from Credit Card Sentinel, which amongst other things covered fraudulent credit card use, I eventually cancelled this in 2009. Following reading articles on MSE I sent them a letter on 22.10.14 stating that this type of protection was always available to me through Barclaycard/ Barclays, and that the additional insurance was unnecessary and therefore I was mis-sold. I received an acknowledgement letter dated 31.10, and this morning a letter advising my complaint had been upheld and a refund of £598 was due (c. £300 in premiums, £360 in interest, less 20% tax on the interest earned). Well pleased. Thank-you MSE0

I took out a Tesco bank credit card back in 2002. I'm pretty sure I was put in touch with Sentinel for card protection soon after but I don't have a record of it.
I still have a Tesco credit card and I'm still pay for Sentinel Gold protection. Can I claim back fees for Sentinel cover?
I would be grateful if someone could let me know and tell me how to claim.
Many thanks in advance0
