I received a £1.20 price promise coupon from Mr T today so I decided to have a look on line to see where the price difference was as I am pretty careful at doing my supermarket comparisons and discovered it was M0rris0ns. We don't have one anywhere near us and they are not on the supermarket comparison website. I've not seen any delivery vans but I do seem to remember hearing something about them partnering with ocado - I must check that out as they seem to be pretty cheap. Mind you it would get the neighbours' curtains twitching as anything other than M&S or Waitr0se is beneath them - I'm sure I will be snubbed now that I have had an A$da delivery :rotfl:
SPENDS TODAY:
£10 Boots - pharmacy essentials
£55.60Mr T
MONEY EARNED/SAVED
10pspat out by the washing machine
97p amex cashback (all that Mr T spend)
I prefer it when my money earned is higher than my spends- need to get back to some NSDs - though I did save £55 on 12 months supply of shampoo and conditioner for the family

Off to see my bezzie (9kids
) today as she's really fed up - the sick bug has been doing the rounds in her house - can you imagine the washing . She's been separated from her husband for a couple of years now and is really wants a new man but she dare not go on any dating websites because she thinks she will frighten everyone away when they know how many kids she has. I'm going to make a non-essential purchase for her today and see if I can find a blow up male doll from a party shop - very poor substitute but hopefully it will put a smile on her face

So good to have DH back - I do miss him. Very tired this morning as we didn't get to bed till 1am, so I may have a go slow day today. DH has an interview today for a job :j:j - I think he has taken on board his financial situation and understands that he needs to bring some more money in. It would be great if he got it as it's local and hopefully there is a chance he can do it 3 days a week so he can still do his own work. What will be will be

Another high spend week over the past 7 days £1004- but hopefully I will reap the rewards with a lower annual food/household spend. I struggle to keep it below £400 a month (Fail to actually). I have £3 left in the pot and another 9 days to go  Although I have all the meat for the meals I still need to buy veg, milk and fruit so I am expecting an over spend of around £20 to £25 - lets see if I can stick to that.
We have made a decision about the cars and have decided to keep the mini and sell the jeep. We very rarely go out in it - normally to go and visit family so we will hire a car when we need to do that. I have a £4,000 outstanding to pay on the mini and was going to pay it up in full next month but have been offered a 3.5% interest rate for the next 2 years so the money can stay in my a couple of high interest accounts which are at a higher rate - so the cost should be £0 if I'm clever with the accounts.
Was kicking myself this morning for not applying for the £750 P.O shares - could a made an instant £35% minus costs - hadn't really taken much notice of it
TO DO LIST:- [STRIKE]GT&WI[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]budget accounts[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]find room in the freezer for the 6 litres of chilli I made yesterday[/STRIKE]:rotfl: took out the rather large pork roast for sunday

- [STRIKE]avoid going to Mr T - aiming for a no spend day[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]ring re contents insurance[/STRIKE]saved £46 on quote :j
- [STRIKE]re-arrange kitchen cupboards[/STRIKE]
- order DH xmas present - he's seen a suit that he loves (same as one he has now which he wears to death but different colour - its expensive and about double my budget (may use bday as well) but he certainly gets his wear out of it.didn't have the trousers in the right size so I have put it on the wish list and hope they will get some more in

Hi PFTP
Enjoying the diary. Your lists have inspired me!
I find that meal planning using as many things you have in the cupboards as possible (and with you that must be loads by now lol) before buying anything - this keeps spends down to a minimum.
Good luck with controlling your food budget and your other endeavours.
