Where has the day gone? Kids due back any minute and I still haven't completed my to do list

I totally take my hat off to all those who work and bring up kids and MS - I just don't know how its done. I know just how lucky I am being a SAHM. I did work for a year when my X up and left and all I seemed to do was keep all the doors closed so I didn't have to see the mess everywhere and live with piles: washing, ironing, paperwork - such hard work. Well done all you guys who do this - I admire you :T

Another good shop at Mr T. Lots of stuff that I normally buy is half price so am stocking up when I can. Limited to doing a bit everyday as I can only carry so much and am determined not to take my car. I'm looking to stock a year's worth of store cupboard/ toiletries/ cleaning stuff where I see it reduced - storage may an issue though :o Also managed to buy a couple of xmas pressies for stocking fillers for the kids :D

DH has just come back from picking up an accidental £bay purchase which has actually turned out rather well. He put a bid of 99p on a 1950's sideboard/drinks cabinet not expecting to win it. He's just come home with it -probably about £15 worth of petrol - and I must say it looks rather retro with our old bakerlite radio on the top. Plus more storage space for my 27 boxes of cereal I seem to have acquired :rotfl:

    SPENDS TODAY:

    £48 - Mr T (£10 xmas + £19 taken from future months food budget).
£75 - BT (no longer belong to Sky) - this includes a one of installation charge, unfortunately it overlapped my last Sky payment which also came out this month.

    ADDITONAL MONEY EARNED

59p thanks to Am£x cashback :D - must look into doing some surveys when I get some time. Need to earn some money for nothing

Today is the end of my week financially and I have to report a horrendous spend of £2,559 for the week  - don't worry it's not the norm!

Peace has come to an end - Child 1 of 3 has just walked through the door. Off to do a freezer inventory :D

I'm sure there is more but this will do for now. Was wondering why I seem to be doing so much washing and have just realised that the drum in this washing machine is smaller than the one in our last house - bit of a pain :(

Have a good one - hope you don't get wet

Morning all - up early to tackle the mountain of ironing - all done, just need to put the duvets back on the beds - most hateful chore.

It should be a kids free weekend but DS and DSS2 are still here but due to go off this afternoon. DH is off to France for 4 days tomorrow so after dropping him off at the airport I am off for a girlie trip to @ldi with a couple of friends. The high street also has a Lidl, Icel@nd and B&M - so looking forward to some MS bargains - we know how to party:j

Didn't manage to get through my list again yesterday - think I must be putting to much on it so today I still have to:

    TO DO LIST:
    • [STRIKE][STRIKE]batch cookiing[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]dusting[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]washing [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]make up beds[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]clean bathrooms[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]ironing mountain[/STRIKE]
    • store cupboards inventory WIP
    • price comparison for store cupboard foods
    • [STRIKE]Daily trip to Mr T[/STRIKE]£35 lots of half price goodies
    • [STRIKE]make pommegrate and mint couscous to go with half price king prawn and smoked haddock filo pies mmm[/STRIKE]
[*[STRIKE]]relax on the sofa with D[/STRIKE]H be with you in haf an hour :):D

    Enjoy

Thanks Iquit - we are very settled thanks - feels like we've been here for months. We have a beautiful garden which I am enjoying in the sunshine and lovely neighbours who have popped round with some homemade jam, runner beans and an invitation to join the local book club - how sweet is that :)
