 7 DAYS TO GO
Can't believe we will be moving in one weeks time. I need to stay focused this week and make sure I complete everything on my lists.
So kids have been dispatched to school and the kitchen cleared of breakfast debris so my focus for today is:
To Do List:- [STRIKE]clean oven - had a roast yesterday[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]washing[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]update budget accounts[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]clean landing - for some reason we have a mahoosive landing, I think it's because we have a very wide house[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]fill holes in DS bedroom - still haven't done that[/STRIKE]hmm seemed to have pulled out half the wall when I was trying to get the picture hooks out
- [STRIKE]food shop - veggies for chicken and gammon left over pie and cooking list for DD thai curry she is making at school tomorrow[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]go into removal firm as the contract they have sent us is for £80 rather than the £800 they quoted us - have a good mind to just leave it[/STRIKE] my mistake - £80/hr - minimum of 8 hrs
- [STRIKE]Process DH's salary - via s@g[/STRIKE]e
- [STRIKE]buy new paint brush - packed ours - durr![/STRIKE] DH is going toget one out the box for me :T
- [STRIKE]clean out fish so they cans see out of tank[/STRIKE]
think the tank needs a new filtration which is why it needs cleaning out so often - next month
- [STRIKE]paint over the filled holes[/STRIKE] too efficient for my own good - just looked at walls and thought the bits Id painted looked a bit shiny - silk not matt  need to back to get the right stuff tomorrow
- [STRIKE]read and action emails - so much school stuff[/STRIKE] a couple that I still need to action but that can wait till tomorrow
- [STRIKE][STRIKE]go through paperwork - too much stuff has been left to be looked at later[/STRIKE][/STRIKE] two things to action now and a couple (insurance and car tax for the end of the month
- [STRIKE]look for wooden floor polish on amazon[/STRIKE]on its way - £20
- [STRIKE]clear bits and pieces from side of the house[/STRIKE]
- revisit my to do list for the rest of this week
- [STRIKE]make left over pie[/STRIKE]
that was delicious even if I do say so myself - condensed chicken soup is the key
I have decided to limit myself to 30 minutes for each activity to try and speed me along and eliminate the boredom - lets see how that goes today
Gotta fly

6 days and counting
A very productive day yesterday - apart from the paint of course:(
£12 cashback on dds from the lovely spanish bank :T
I went from being £258 in credit with my gas and electric account yesterday to being £61 in debt today after providing my monthly reading. I don't know how that happened as our usage has been no higher this month from the previous 3 -I need to look into that. I will be checking the comparison sites before I decide on which is the best company to switch to. We already pay £200 a month and I was expecting to have a credit to see us through the winter
looked in to this and its fine - our first month's dd for this tariff was only £23 instead of £220 so we have now caught up
Another full day ahead of me starting off with my usual ironing pile - and its mainly shirts - I hate ironing shirts.
Straight into the list then:
To Do List:- [STRIKE]Buy the right paint[/STRIKE]got tester pot so only £1.59 a tad darker but will stick some white in it
- d[STRIKE]eep clean the stairs and hallway - the walls on the stairs are pretty grim so it may take me some time[/STRIKE]still have hallway to do - half way through now
- [STRIKE]Fill in holes in DSS2s room[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Repaint the bits of the walls that need going over with matt not silk[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Complete the two school forms that I found in the filing yesterday[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]food shop - bits for left over roast pork tortillas[/STRIKE] bacon butties instead - Me DH and DS are all out tonight so will have that another day
- [STRIKE][STRIKE]ironing[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]clean the room between the laundry room and garage[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]sign and delliver the updated tenancy agreement we've been sent[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]start on the garage. DH is doing most of that but there are some things in there that I can deal with and I want to clear a space to start to put the boxes from the spare room so we wont be trapsing up and down when we move them (70 to date)[/STRIKE] cleared the bit I needed and have brought down 20 boxes - ouch my back
- Take DS to programming course which is miles away
The 30 minute limit worked quite well yesterday as it made me focus but some of my jobs today are going to take much longer
Have a good one

What fish do you keep? What's the tank size and filter type? It sounds to me like it's not big enough.
Ps. Keeping fish is my hobby0 -

I think the goldfish may just have to downsize their living accommodation, just like the family is doing

5 DAYS
Mantra for today: don't panic
Not so much of a LSD yesterday - £6800 paid for deposit, first months rent and admin fees
Also bought myself a sandwich and a choccie bar whilst waiting for DS whilst he did his programming course - not very :money: I know but I was so hungry and we didn't get back till gone 8pm
I moved the piano yesterday for the first time in two years - YUK! I think I had the worlds biggest spiderweb lurking behind there - however I did find 20p :rotfl:
My arms are killing me after moving 20 boxes to the garage - I'm far too independent for my own good - should really wait till DH is home and get him to do it.
To Do List:- [STRIKE]update budget accounts - last day of the month for me tomorrow so will be able to update my signature[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE][STRIKE]Finish off cleaning hall and clean windows[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]clean dishwasher[/STRIKE] had to use brown vinegar for washing m/c and dishwasher - sparkly clean but a little smelly :rotfl::rotfl:
- [STRIKE]clean washing machine[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]clean microwave[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]lug 20 more boxes downstairs[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]scrub down grill pan[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]clean windows in study[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]clean cupboards in study[/STRIKE]
- vacuum and wipe down playroom forgot DSS2 has half day today so he is now ensconced infront of the TV so it will have to wait until tomorrow
- [STRIKE]small food shop for pork tortillas for tea[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]go through to do list - it seems to be endless[/STRIKE] yep its endless:eek:
