Luckily I'm still on my 2 year reduced rate fixed term but it sounds like another good reason to 'leave' when it ends.0

And go where? I can't really see anyone wanting to go from Fibre to adsl, and of course, as soon as one provider puts their price up they all go up so in a few weeks/months you would be paying more to who ever you have changed to for a slower service to save a few quid.
Every thing goes up in price, get a grip and calm down people.0 -

Nowhere.
I'm sure the mere threat of leaving will get me a new reduced offer0 -

Well I'll certainly be trying that tack. I'm in a FTTC area and the price increase will mean it's nip and tuck as to which works out cheaper and cashback will make the first year definitely cheaper if I move.0

Within the last month we had a bit of a go with them. Tried to get price down by phone, offered nothing.
Went to Facebook, a bit of toing and froing, managed to get Medium TV and phone, and the broadband we are currently on (20meg, don't need more) for £25 a month. Took a bit of doing, but it worked
Just in time too, not had any email about the broadband going upWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I phoned them this morning, the guy didn't know anything about it, went off came back and said it's customers with XL XXL packaeges broadband only0

Not heard anything yet personally but while it's only £2.50, my package is slightly more expensive already then what I could get elsewhere, albeit the broadband is better.
I'll wait and see what happens and if I do get lettered or whether it's customers on specific bundles/packagesCurrently in a Protected Trust Deed - 17 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270
