  • Thanks!

It's the forum that keeps me going, that and my obsession for PADding and fervently budgeting haha!

    Positive thinking, as ever!

  • So, here I am in the middle of another NSD, having eaten my homemade packed lunch. Others have been to MacDonalds but I have resisted! Another planned NSD tomorrow will take me nicely to pay day on Friday :)

I have had another 2 orders for my second job today, it has been a really good month so far in that respect.:T

I still have a positive bank balance, only £25 but it will cover my PADding tomorrow and then I will PAD the remainder on Friday.

I have found that bringing food to work and not spending is making me eat a lot more healthily. This is another added bonus and should make me continue on the frugal path to debt freedom!

I made my PAD this morning of £3.50 to the credit card... it's amusing how long the statements are these days with a fiver here paid and a quid there... :rotfl:

Still no letter from the hospital so we are eagerly awaiting postie's visit tomorrow. We were planning a walk on the moors this evening but OH is not feeling too good so gardening it will be instead. Either way, it's spend free!

Will be going for a routine swim tonight, always makes me feel better and completely de-stresses me after a hard day's work. As I use their towels, have a shower and wash and dry my hair there I like to think its another step to MSE ways. I know that I have to pay membership but as I go every day, this equates to £1.20 a session instead of £3.95 a session at the public baths. Aside from walking I don't do much more exercise so I will keep it up... weigh day on Friday too.

I have made some more flyers to promote my second job and will start thinking where else I can leave these to drum up business. My sister is also a rep so there's no chance of getting double booked, she will always take one off my hands!

Onwards we go... I have some time off next week which will be nice but I'm making the most of my NSD's this week whilst I'm too busy to spend...

    Stay positive and smiley

  • Lunches are such an easy change, I enjoy them much more than shop brought pre packed items.

I shall be doing my PADing tomorrow too. It's becoming quite addictive.

Hope mr postman delivers the much wanted letter soon. So annoying when you want something and it seems that heals are dragging.

I thought the same about my store card bill, instead of lots of purchases it's all going to be payments.

Talking about smiley .... I got 3 boxes of smiley chocolates from thorntons so lots of smiles all round.

    Xx
