Hi agian!
Still in positive mode!
I have come to realise (and I think that I already knew as I'm a fairly logical person) that I can only have an influence on so much, no matter whether I worry about it or not so I think that's increasing my positivity.
Hubby may be able to start work after all, he is waiting for confirmation from his surgeon so fingers crossed. It's our anniversary tomorrow (of meeting, not marriage) and he's going to cook a meal for us to celebrate. He's a good cook too so I am looking forward to it!
Enjoying my lunch (free lunch) made by my own fair hands and smiling inwardly at my second no spend day in a row.
I'm off for a swim after work (part of my membership so no spending there) and may follow that up with a sauna and jacuzzi to top off my feel good day
Been on the phone to the insurance and a claim form for poorly pooch is on its way so at least that's being sorted. Not overly optimistic about the PPI claim as I haven't heard a peep so far from my paperwork request...Will keep waiting and seeing...
The £80 to pay day should certainly see me through and I'm hoping half of that will go towards paying off some debts either by PADding or by me chucking at one of the cards come pay day!
I'm hoping for some good weather for the bank holiday so that we can relax and potter in the garden rather than finding something to do which will probably cost money although I'm sure I could spend a day listing items on eBay which I no longer have a need for!
Keep smiling

Didn't manage to last the day out as a no spend day as we needed some ingredients for dinner tomorrow so decided to bring shopping day forwards and go this evening. However, we did make a list and only bought what was on it
On the upside, my swimming costume is now too big for me, on the downside I need to buy a new one... Had a look in the supermarket but couldn't see any as we are getting to the end of summer now.
Bringing the shopping forwards should mean that tomorrow and Friday are both NSD's - whoop!

I suppose it's back to worrying about the things you can change and not worrying about the things you can't.
I am with you on the lunch issue. Amazing how much you can really save taking things with. Yes more expensive shopping wise but no where near what you would spend on a sandwich every day. It's not just the sandwich either it's all the all other stuff and the temptation when youre in a shop to buy other things that you really don't need.
Don't give up on the ppi claim, took a week or so for me to get an acknowledgement. Fingers crossed for it.
Great news about your hubby - hope Lady Luck is on his side and the consultant gives him the thumbs up.
Happy anniversary ( meeting anniversary ) for tomorrow. Hope you have a lovely meal and nice chilled evening xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Well, I'm aiming for another NSD today with leftovers for lunch, a lovely meal being cooked tonight and I'll be going for a swim after work to unwind. I have already completed my PAD of £3.76 to my credit card this morning

Just been for a fantastic swim and I'm feeling so refreshed! I was swimming up and down planning my debt repayments haha! I'm very sad indeed...
Had a really good day, managed to get some orders for my second job and promoted offers out today too so hopefully that will lead to more orders
Now off home to anniversary meal lovingly cooked by hubby
Looking forward to another NSD tomorrow... Here's hoping!

Had a lovely evening and I'm so glad it's Friday!
Leftovers for lunch again today, this seems to be becoming a habit... but waste not want not!
Will not be a NSD for me today as I need to get some bits for the weekend on the way home but will try to limit this as much as possible. It has definitely helped by using leftovers
I'm still feeling really positive and other people have started to notice now so I think that's spurring me on! Didn't realise I was such a grumpy bum before! :rotfl:
Looking forwards to pay day so that I can start paying big chunks off the debts again, I have already made my PAD this morning of £20 to the PS4 envelope in the safe... Pressure is on now that they have announced a release date but I'm 58% of the way there already...
Onwards through the hap-hap-happy Friday!

Amazing how much mental cargo we carry around isn't it. Glad you still feel positive.
You have made a cracking start on your ps4 fund. How much more do you need to contribute to it to get it to 60%.still enough time without panicking and stressing to get the money all together. Your doing amazing.

I think its fair to say that this hasn't been the best of years for me and hubby on a personal point of view, but also from a work point of view its been really busy so mentally it's been very challenging for me.
I hadn't noticed my grumpiness! Others certainly had it seems...I guess it's just spurs me on even further, knowing I can have an impact on other people's lives.
I would rather have a positive impact on those around me if anything at all!
I hope you have had a good week darls, 3 days ahead before any more work... On one hand it's great to have quality time with hubby but it can be a tempting time to spend! But when I'm at work I don't spend money... Lol
Can't work all the time though can we?
PS4 is £350 so £7 more will be 60%. Hubby is very excited and I can't wait to see his face when he finally gets it, although he won't have it before Christmas Day I guarantee it! :rotfl:
