  • Having a lovely spend free day so far... Been for an early morning swim and then played some board games to avoid the rain! It's brightening up now just in time for us to go to our friends party in an hour(ish)

The weather is supposed to be much better over the next few days so pottering in the garden should keep me away from the shops!

The claim form has arrived so I need to pop that to the vets, I have also received my free gift from the insurance of an annual '2 for 1' cinema card... I'd forgotten about that :)

Even better, I have had the initial response on my PPI request with all the agreement details so I can submit my claim! Hooray!!!

    The positive mood continues...

  • How lovely to be enjoying a Sunday knowing that I don't have to go to work tomorrow :)

I have already made my PAD this morning, no bank changes so just a small £1 to the credit card. I have also been for my daily swim and then made breakfast for me and hubby.

Not sure what we will end up doing today, was hoping for better weather so that I could get some gardening but it's a little wet and cloudy still at the moment.

Later on I need to make some flyers and a few posters for my second job as I have been given permission to put them in the health club where I am a member. Hopefully this will lead to more orders - fingers crossed! :T

  • Morning, it's lovely getting up knowing that we still have another lie in tomorrow.

Hope the weather improves and you get out in your garden. I'm planning a couple of hours in front of the tv watching the Grand Prix.

Good luck with the flyers - hope it brings in some more business.

  • Been for a wander around a car boot sale this morning, didn't buy anything but it was a nice stretch of the legs. Going to the health club with my sister in a few minutes, it will be nice to have company when swimming lengths, we will probably have some lunch there but that will be my only spend over the bank holiday so that's fantastic for me!

Only 4 days to pay day and £65 left in the bank account. This has been a really good month spend wise, I'm proud of myself!

  • Things are still very positive in the LittleMissDetermined household... I have had another 3 orders today for my second job which is great :T

Another home made packed lunch has just been devoured and I have a banana for a mid afternoon snack, I have completed my PPI Questionnaire to send off but when they have sent the paperwork they have not included the policy number for the insurance so I have written back asking for the missing information. I think they try to be difficult so people just give up!

Made my PAD this morning of £3.25 to credit card, not long now until we get paid and I can start making more headway into the debts.

September is a busy month and I feel there will be some spend casualties... I have a weekend away next weekend, it's been booked and paid for for a long while now so I can't not go. Will try to set myself a limited budget and stick to it. We have, however managed to blag free spa day passes for whilst we are away which saves us £40.00 so I can't grumble, the frugality continues! Normally we would have just paid it without question.

Dinner tonight will be from the freezer as we have enough supplies in to last us to Friday evening's weekly shop and I feel an early night will be on the cards as I didn't sleep well last night, I think it was too warm :(

I have made my advertising flyers for the health club and will print them off and pop them up tonight, I also need to deliver the claim form to the vets - wasn't sure of their opening times over the bank hol. Pooch seems to be fully recovered now though so I'm thankful for their efforts!

Hubby has been promised a doctor's letter saying he can work so we are just waiting for that to come though before we can return to some sort of normality (although I have never been normal...! :rotfl:)

  • Hi hunny,

Sounds like another great day ... Youre flying.

Whilst you are in such a positive frame of mind I don't think anything will get in your way of achieving your goals.

Wow about your extra orders, hope it doesn't mean too much extra work for you. Remember life is about balance.

Hope your husband gets his letter through soon, will he be having a phased return back at work.

Freezer food for me too. Few bits of shopping done but main shop will be done over the weekend.

Looking forward to pay day xx
