Thanks It is getting hard, I'm having to look at ways to save money so i can save more!

you doing the grocery challenge? i have joined again...its where most of my money goes so hoping to get that down a lot by the time im saving a lot per week

I haven't yet, but maybe I should give it a go. I try and stick to around £60 per week but i don't often stick to it. I really need to meal plan as I find I spend less when I do.

Week 4 - £4
Week 5 - £5
Week 6 - £6

Total now £21

week 3 - just transferred £5 so total now at £8.

Doing the chart method and varying amount throughout year. Somewhat broke at the minute due to Christmas, sons birthday and 3 x friends birthdays all falling this month so lower amounts going in. Aiming to try and spread some of the "biggie" weeks accross the monts so I don't take a big hit at the end of the year.
