Sorry but I prepare to some degree or another all year round but I really get stuck in from September 1st as it helps to spread the cost and the stress levels don't sky rocket

Hello all

Just about to unload the DW so thought ideal time to post.

Bossy if the child's parents ask about the invite I think honesty would be the best policy (as they were not present at the incidents) and tell them how upset you were about his meanness to his cousins and that you could do without that stress on top of the stress of a party.

Be good for Valli next week flyers, so as not to miss out Valli I shall do your week when I get back the following week.

Evening

Went to MK today and it chucked it down, so glad I didnt car boot, bought cat food, and got 3 bags for the price of 3, some special promotion on, so didn't argue with the cashier, who then offered me 2 free bags of cat treats, so too them and said thank you, before she changed her mind.

Then to B & Q to get a plug thingy to mend the flymo cable I cut over!

Cleaned the front door and cat flap.
Watched the grand prix.
Pasta and cheese sauce for dinner

Bossy~ I would NOT invite the child.

No flying for me today but I did persuade OH to clean the shower so another little job ticked off. Just need to clean the mirror and sink and job done.

Really need to tackle my bedroom although I did do a 15 minute dust and declutter of bedsides so a little less to do.

nicki did you teach DD to crochet or did she get instructions online? I've tried utube but find the demos go too fast despite stop/starting the videos. If it was online can you recommend a site?
HB thanks for the tip for w!lkos for the cotton bedding - they have 20% of their 400 count bedding at the moment :money: so have placed my order and used a cash back site too.

Decided to hit the ground running today:

LR, hallway runner, stairs, landing & BR hettyed.
Sofas hettyed
WM x 1 & hung on indoor airer
Bed stripped, mattress hettyed & bed remade with fresh linen

Went out and came across an RTC - a motorcyclist was lying in the road with an ambulance in attendance. I had a sense that there would be an unhappy ending and was shaking when I made it to JL. I've since found out the poor bloke didn't make it and he'd just got married

Kiddies in bed, DD told me I could come in her princess castle, so have captured a few ideas on p!nterest for when I decorate her room next year. It really needs it now but I still can't face it after all the masking tape in the hallway, lol, and she is a little small for the bed I'm hoping to get...
