Gah, set up our spangly new feeding station week before last and STILL not seen any diners on it! Might have to move it this weekend and see if we can entice any visitors!Every act of kindness, no matter how small, isn’t wasted ❤️

No don't move it yet. Birds are suspicious of anything new (at least they are in our garden!) but will be watching it from a distance. It will only take one to feed off it and the others will soon join it to see what they are missing! Be patient a little longer!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. Was looking out of the kitchen window at a long tailed tit (very rare for us) about 20 feet away and said to my wife look at this. Unbelievably it flew towards the window and landed on the windowsill and stayed there for a couple of minutes!
Never a camera to hand when you need one!!!0 -
Good for you Dave...all I get these days are long tailed cats.

we have a flock of long tailed tits come down to the fruit trees every day at roughly 3ish, about 12 of them so nice to see and today we had 2 woodpeckers and the usual daily visit from our !!!! pheasant,
we are lucky to have a lot of birds,0 -
Just now there were 14 gold finches all at the same time feasting / fighting on my sunflower heart feeders. Never seen so many at once before.
Still very gusty here with short periods of icy cold sleet or hail and then bright sunshine inbetween. Think they are feeding whilst they can.0 -
I can't compete with that single yellowhammer and a couple of songthrushes, lol! Very cold here still , too.
And the heron came to visit but that's not up to my feedingFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Good grief! Great shot! Amazing behaviour!
Was the weasel trying to catch the bird to eat?0
