Leave your cars on the roadside, then when they park in front of the drive way block them in. In the end they will knock on your door so you can keep them waiting for 5 minutes before moving the cars. They will think twice next time :)

    When they knock on your door... don't answer. If/when they come back later, when you eventually do answer;

"Sorry, I had my headphones on, I couldn't hear the door"
"Sorry, I was in the shower"
    "Sorry, I was asleep"

    Then,

"OK, I'll just get the keys" (Rummage, rummage)
"Sorry, can't find the keys, be with you in a minute or two, talk amongst yourselves for a while..."
"Honey, where are the car keys ...?"

This year I bought a couple of bags of 6X fibrous fertiliser. This stuff is awesome, the smell is one that lingers when it gets up your nose and is makes even the strongest cringe. I would suggest starting with a very small amount , a couple of pinches, dropped into the A/C vents below the windscreen wipers . (use the fibrous not pelleted.) Any left over can go on the roses.
If not that you can put down a light dusting of the stuff on the roadway over where they park , that would be adequate to create a miasma inside their car

A few things, you could park on road where they park when they go out.

Set your alarm for 3 am, decide you would really like to go somewhere in the car, bang on their door until they get up so they move the car, either drive off, or block your own driveway.

Oh, whats that? Ah, its the neighbours getting back home, hmm I know, lets wait 15 minutes until they are nicely settled with a cup of tea, better go knocking on the door as I need to go out right now.

Oh, I see the neighbours are parked on the road, hmm there appears to be a space beside them, lets park a few inches away so they can't pull out, now erm, I know, lets have some beers.

Don't be pathetic and act like a child about it. Getting in a tit-for-tat parking war is ridiculous.

Ring the council, tell them about it. Also accompany the call with a letter.

If the council deem it enough of a problem they can consider making the parking out the front permit-only. Then they won't be able to park there.

I'm about to move to a property it has the same as you its semi detatched with a long thin drive for 4 cars, the issue is its off a one way thin road that other cars park on, I worry I wont have the swing to get my vehicles in and if I can, I wont be able to get them out etc, but its one of those things,

I'd suggest a word with the neighbour to state your not happy, and the minute you spot anyone block the drive challenge them straight away, nip it in the bud early, don't go doing anything to there drive or cars, but in my experience if someone says nothing they get walked on.

And to block a drive is wrong plain and simple, a house is a sanctuary and not to be taken for granted, who needs this crap in life hey.

Hi guys! Just came back from work. Thanks for replies.

I have started parking 1 car right in front of my driveway until judt before i head to bed so they can't block it. I will ring council tomorrow I have just looked online and it seems promising.

Can't post link but I looked up blocked driveway Ealing and came up with 'Ealing dropped kerb enforcement'

I have also filled the form and I am going to post it tomorrow recorded and ring council to see what can be done.

Anyone know what happens if I ring council and by the time they come to ticket the car and if the car thats blocking my driveway is already gone will I get fined or am I liable for anything?

    Thanks!

Take a photo which also has time and date stamp upon the photo. This may serve as useful evidence later if your local council need to take enforcement action in the future.

Get your council to paint a white H Bar - they look like a capital letter H stretched horizontally - across the width of your driveway on the carriageway, parallel to the kerb line - this basically denotes where vehicles should not park as access needs to be maintained.
