Who's well and truly falling off the wagon. £130 for a new phone for DS £90 on new jacket for DD (Early xmas gift), starbucks (although I did have a banana @55p with my skinnylatte rather than a panini, and DD had tap water lol)

I've been spending out of the wrong accounts, and don't know where I am.

On the plus side I did have a lovely day out Xmas shopping with DD. I's so nice to spend time with her these days. Rather that the old days when it was constant conflict. She's changed so much in the last 6 months. She's put on a stone, which was really needed, and blossomed into a lovely young lady. :D

I've booked on with my friends daughter for a pedicure today, £10 includes massage & paraffin wax. I also invited them round here for some tea later, so I need to raid the freezer, cook and do some shopping

    Jobs for the weekend
    • [STRIKE]Take stock of Christmas list (lost the last one) and budget for rest of Christmas spends[/STRIKE]
    • Sort out bank balances
    • [STRIKE]Clear out fridge[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Meal plan[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Shop[/STRIKE]
    • Washing done, dried and put away
    • [STRIKE]Followup on sales leads[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Go for a bike ride[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Make new video[/STRIKE] Made 5
    • Dye hair
    • [STRIKE]Exercise both days[/STRIKE] 20 mile bike ride and 7 minute work out

I had another good charity shop find, a pair of next long trousers that fit perfectly for £4.49. I think all the tall people in town must have been having a clear out recently.

I've got lots on in the coming weeks, a couple of work trips, works xmas do, friends birthday night out, I need to be uba organised.

I'd better get on with it, phew, have a great weekend everyone xx

  • I managed a NSD today which brings my total to 10, it's going to be some going to reach 15 by the end of the month!!
I have £32 to last til payday on Thursday, which should be no problem.
I've been spending for Christmas out of my current account, so I need to swap some money around, as the Christmas savings remain untouched.
I've put in a milage claim today for over £500, and an expense claim for £46, my aim is to clear one of the cards before Christmas, and not spend any thing on the credit card over Christmas, simples :A

Very nearly a NSD, but I'm working away, and just had to leave a £1 tip for the excellent service in the restaurant, I'd have felt really bad if I hadn't.
I forgot to get my boss to sign my expenses, aaargh, and I've not back in the office for 2 weeks. I'm going to have to send him the key for my desk lol.

  • A NSD day today that takes me to 11, can't spend anything else this month if I want to hit my target of 15. Which means I'm stuck here as I need some fuel!!
Made £36 of affiliate income, that was paid straight off my CC this evening, progress still seems painfully slow at the moment. I wish I could just cancel Christmas and Birthdays and pay off the debt

  • Today is lovely payday. Splurrged on the kids this evening with kebab and macdonalds

My tax code has changed a little, but it's only about £17 a month better off, better than less though.

I paid £300 off the debt this evening, that takes it to over 80% paid off the total :T

Just catching up and your NSDs have been fab, I think I might make tracking/setting goals one of my targets for 2015.

Good news on the tax too - another little bit into your pocket rather than theirs :D

Great to hear about the changes in DD and your shopping trip sounded fab.

Brilliant to have hit 80% too, well done. :T:T

November NSDz 11/15, a bit disappointing considering I was away for half of the month

On top of that I have committed to decorating both kids rooms AND I have bought them both ipads for Christmas, I did get these at the airport and saved £40 plus I paid for them through my business, so technically cost me nothing, not sure if the accountant might frown on 2 ipads on business expenses though, we will see!

I was thinking the other day why I keep spending now when I did so well at the start paying off my debt, now when there is only 20% of it left, I keep spending my money on other stuff, and justifying it to myself. I could have paid it off by this Christmas if I had really committed to it.

Is it because I'm used to it being there, it sort of feels comfortable. The reality of being debt free is a bit scarey, what if I mess it all up again? So I'm putting off the debt free day.

Maybe I'm over thinking this, but I do think there's a lot of psychology to do with debt that I still have not unraveled. I could go and get some counseling, but that would just be another debt paying avoidance :rotfl:

I'm working away this week so 3 NSDs so far this month

Also I've applied for another job, same company but different department. It's more responsibility, but the same grade, so I'm not sure if there would be a pay rise in it, I will have to see.
