Thank you for coming back. Perhaps all the doubters will now realise there is a process for appeal and it does work.
Far easier than court, yes still time consuming and no doubt stressful, but free.0 -
This sounds similar to the problem I had on Ebay with a Sat Nav I sold. The buyer said it didn't work so I got him to try charging it which he said he did. After a few days he still couldn't get it to work so I asked him to return it to me, it never came back. After about 2 weeks he opened a dispute and Ebay ordered him to return the item to me, he never sent it but then added negative feedback to my account. Ebay closed the dispute after he never sent the item back but because he took it to dispute the negative feedback remained.
I am still convinced to this day that he was trying it on otherwise why not send the item back.
Ebay were quite clear I didn't have to refund unless the item was returned tracked delivery at his expense so whilst I never had to give the money back because it was never returned I still have negative feedback.
A few months later I had an email from TomTom saying thank you for updating your Sat Nav and to confirm it was in perfect working order.0 -
You can always tell a scammer by their messages which are full of pointless waffle and vaguely threatening undertones. They are intended to scare sellers into just refunding with no questions asked.
Now that most High Streets are like ghost towns, it seems as though all the shoplifters and pickpockets have moved onto Ebay where they can rob you blind without even getting out of bed!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -

Did you email him thanking him for updating the Sat Nav that now appears to be in perfect working order.0
