    just out of curiosity I googled the A95ccd problem and could not find many posts about the problem (2006-2009)unless the camera is years old they would have cured the problem. Not sure if this helps in any way.

    I think there was a service notice on the A95 CCD sensor. Canon were replacing the faulty sensor free of charge, but may have expired now.

    Well it looks like it is....

    Got 'my' camera back, not mine at all. Poor condition and they sent it back in my original box which has the serial number on the side.

    They don't match :rotfl:

    What a pain, all for £27.50. I decided eBay is not worth the hassle, Gumtree is now my favoured portal for selling unwanted items.

    Phone and ask for a link to send photos. Then appeal the case and if you are able update here when it's done.
