HOW CAN THEY DO IT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION WITHOUT ME KNOWING.....
Is no one else wondering this...?????
Is no one else thinking that if EE can do it, anyone could do it...????
but whats the problem? thats what I'm not getting - you have a phone contract with a phone company which you agreed to and are paying. Your previous contract is settled. So the issue is ..... what, exactly?0 -
Hi,
I think I can see what your talking about. I'm with Orange but on my credit report it has the account listed as EE T/A Orange.. Have they maybe moved you from Orange and now your an EE customer with a new account number.0 -
I am a paid member of credit expert and check my file every month, so i can see changes to my file and score instantly.
My apologies if you already know this but save your self some money and cancel that subscription.
The credit reference agencies hold details of your CREDIT HISTORY. Each month your credit status is updated, ie did you pay a bill on time, any late payments or defaults, anything paid off and so on, all these are historical fact.
When you apply for credit with anyone new they request your credit history from the agencies, and on the basis of your history and their own internal marking criteria will assign you a credit score, as long as it passes their target you get credit.
However, Every lender will assess you slightly differently, different multipliers and so on. The score you get with EE may be different to say Vodafone's view.
Credit Experts CREDIT SCORE is simply Experian's view of your score, they do not pass that actual number to anyone, its a good way to assess your credit worthiness but that's all a measure for you. No business will see or use that score to assess you for credit, they all go back to the credit history and calculate their own.
Experian do actually say this but it's buried on their website, and they only ever refer to your score as your "Experian Credit Score"

Nobody else could do it unless you're receiving a service from them?
When you took out a new contract with them - you agreed to a new credit term. It may not have been spelled out to you specifically that this would create a new entry on your credit file - but to be honest, I wouldn't expect any agent to know this anyway.
Really OP - I have to confess to not really seeing a problem here.0
