I started on the panel (after training) in August. I have received an e-mail stating "As you will be leaving us shortly, we are asking you to return all smarts to..."

I wasn't under the impression there was a time limit to this panel. What is the normal time scales?

Hope I get one last incentive pack before I finish :)
  • There is a six month time limit when you're on the panel.

I was asked if I wanted a well-deserved rest, but if necessary, would I be happy to participate a few month more. I said I would like to continue, but I have heard nothing from them since.

I also agreed to continue but haven't heard anything yet, hopefully we will hear something soon but this is TNS/Kantar we are talking about so I ain't holding my breath :D

My request was for 3rd Feb-9th March, 5 weeks!

Is it definitely for 5 weeks of entries? I thought they were usually for 3 week's entries but a further 2 weeks allowed for special items arriving late.
I suppose it will only show up when it hits your webpage.

I've been doing the unaddressed mail survey since 2nd Dec. Email said I'd receive £5 voucher for each three week period completed. Also completed the correctly delivered one for 6th Dec to 29th December. So far I have received one £5 voucher which was for the first three weeks of the unaddressed survey. I'll give it until monday and then email to ask what has happened to my other vouchers!!

I'm still waiting for my vouchers for the correctly delivered one ending 29th December. They usually seem to take at least 3 weeks to send them so hopefully will arrive next week.

it would appear that ive now completed my 7 week retraining period...although IMHO the training goes nowhere to describe what the actual live postal panel will be like.

of the 7 week retraining(ive been a panelist for maybe 5 years and rested several times)I was only actually asked to post in 3 of those weeks the standard 2 letters with no complications.

The last actual posting I had was christmas and boxing day...so I was beginning to wonder if perhaps I was about to be sidelined as each week since has been empty...until lo and behold I check the website for next week....9 to post!!!

There are a mixture of times locations inserts and whilst I'm not fazed by it it has made me wonder that if new recruits to the panel get a similar number of items to deal with on their first week live then its no wonder mistakes can and do occur.

Oh how I wish our lovely panel of experts would actually make more use of the training time to include different senarios rather than sporadic sending of the same items....proper use of the time would make it all a little less daunting for new recuits when they join the panel proper!!!!

It is all a bit strange. Like you I've been on for years, and got "rested" last April. Started again after Christmas with re-training. So why a nine month break and not the six we were told, and why do I have to do the training again every time?

    Whats the correctly delivered survey?
  • The correctly delivered survey is where you have to enter the number of items of post delivered to your house every day and say if they were correctly delivered.

I often do this and have only ever had one mis-delivered letter so I just entered the name and address of where that should have gone and what I usually do with any misdelivered letters. (in this case I popped it through the correct door)

It is very simple and they send you a £5 L2S voucher for doing it for two weeks.

Just a word of warning guys. I've been a panalist for some time and I received an email yesterday telling me I would be struck off the panel with immediate effect. Why? Because I received a damaged letter which I was honest about and said was damaged by royal mail. As a result they think I have been "compromised" and hence terminated my involvement with immediate effect.

I can kind of understand why they did it, but its a bit harsh that just by being an honest panelist and doing no harm you can be removed immediately like that.....just a word of warning to you guys if you ever receive a damaged letter!
