Just a word of warning guys. I've been a panalist for some time and I received an email yesterday telling me I would be struck off the panel with immediate effect. Why? Because I received a damaged letter which I was honest about and said was damaged by royal mail. As a result they think I have been "compromised" and hence terminated my involvement with immediate effect.

I can kind of understand why they did it, but its a bit harsh that just by being an honest panelist and doing no harm you can be removed immediately like that.....just a word of warning to you guys if you ever receive a damaged letter!

What you have to realise is RM (not the research company) are red hot on not knowing who panellists are.
There are procedures n RM for reporting compromised panellists.

It is all a bit strange. Like you I've been on for years, and got "rested" last April. Started again after Christmas with re-training. So why a nine month break and not the six we were told, and why do I have to do the training again every time?

That's their system & if you read this thread regularly you will find the resting period seems to vary for different people.

I think they also want to make sure that you are aware of any changes in the system although this isn't actually covered in the training period and, for those of us who have been doing this for a long time, is probably a waste of our time - does give Mr W H a job though!!

There is a six month time limit when you're on the panel.

No January incentives yet, I'm guessing? I'm finding them very erratic at sending out the stamps of late - shouldn't be necessary to chase them up, but it does seem to be.
  • I have waited ages to be on the panel and finally got an email to say accepted for a wave starting 13th Jan for 2 weeks. To record mail received and enter on website.

When logged onto the site it shows nothing in the "check test items" expected to be delivered for the week just gone or next week.

Am I being thick and missing something here????

If you are doing a two-week survey then that sounds like the Correctly Delivered survey. If so, that just involves counting what you receive and noting any incorrectly delivered to your house. There are no items to look out for, you just count your normal addressed post.

It does not seem you have been invited to start the main panel as you would have to do some training for 7 weeks just sending letters to a named individual at West Bromwich.

It sounds as though you were invited to take part in a correctly delivered survey. This lasts for 2 weeks and should be showing when you log in to daily tasks. If this option is not there when you log in, I suggest you contact them.

    Hi,
I don't know if it's been posted before but why I didn't remember is beyond me.

All those letter I've been getting i could have been donating the used stamps to the RNIB :).

Here are more details and it only costs a stamp.
