Just as long as you enter your holiday info on the TNS website and give 4 weeks notice, you will be fine and will not have any probs.0 -
Okay I am going to say something that might be "controversial" to you.
My mum worked for "research resources" and "mass observation", both market research companies and at that time were the better ones.
They both did bits of this Royal Mail survey. I am talking late 1980's and early 1990's.
You are all being exploited. When I compare the rewards then to now , it is a total disgrace. My mum let me post all the letters and she would give me the stamps. I was only 16 then and I needed stamps as I got a pack through every month from the BRITANNIA MUSIC CLUB and if I didn't send the postcard back they would send me recording of the month.
So it was really good for me.
Whereas I feel you members are doing too much, for some skanky stamps. Like pieces of foam or things coming through door that you go to delivery office for. My delivery office is 30 minutes away on foot. And to be honest I can't be bothered doing this for a few books of stamps. With inflation, you should all be getting £30 of stamps.

You can post each item on the same scheduled week day of the following week. If you're still going to be away the following week then you can post them the week after that (so 2 weeks later). I've done that before and TNS were fine about it.......I did query it with them. If you're not able to post them after two weeks, I would give them a shout so they're aware of the situation and know that its not because you've decided to end your participation. You've informed them once already that you'll be away so I wouldn't bother contacting them again about it, the above scenario notwithstanding!
Hope that helps! Have a lovely holiday!

Terrible.
I agree. This is really shoddy.
I only signed up because I keep hearing about this on MSE. I assumed free stamps what could be wrong. But then you realise how much timekeeping is involved with this, the amount of value you are offering to TNS and RM and how little you are being rewarded for this.
I assumed you got a new batch of stamps every job. But you only get them once at the start and once at the end. Consider yourself lucky if you get anything at the end because you've served your usefulness and they'll be likely to forget you.
culture of MSE is every penny counts and a trampy attitude is quite prevasive.
Wombling (picking up discareded ASDA receipts and claiming refunds for the asda price promise) was a hugely embellished one.
I've joined the fb group and saw people collecting 250+ receipts and getting something like £90 for the work.
The roadkill is the worst, people collecting pennies they find on the street. Posting on forums saying the found a 20p coin. (ususally find pennies a day)0 -

I've just finished my training (can't remember how many times I've done it now!) and received my first "real" posting pack for next week along with the usual stamps and a presentation pack of Mr & Miss stamps.
As I walk past a post box just about every day and have a Post Office on the route to the local shops I'm quite happy joining in.
No one is being forced to be on the panel, if you don't enjoy it or think the rewards aren't good enough then just tell them and leave, no need to get all worked up about it.0 -

Sorted to my satisfaction. Thanks TNS.0 -

Are you going to tell us what the actual reply was as no-one else seems to have received the information you had originally or is this a special arrangement for you only with TNS?0 -
