So glad you are putting an effort into the survey.
Have you thought of complaining about the question?
Could it be so RM (you know, who pay for the survey) can monitor QOS on meeting their USO target delivery times?
Postmarks, well where do you think RM gets data as to its 1C/2C delivery time performance?
Item queries? Well could these item have been delivered later than expected or flagged up a rogue RFD scan on route?
I totally agree with your reply here but abbreviations which are not well known need to be explained.
It is obvious that QOS is quality of service but would like to know what USO and RFD are please. I assume a RFD is a scanning point in the postal process.
I know delivery times & dates are needed - We have recently not had our delivery one day a week & this was flagged up because the post was showing as delivery expected on our non-delivery day from the Smart information. Since I was able to confirm the situation our delivery has returned to every day.0 -

RFID(missed an I) is what you refer to as a smart.
The USO is the universal service obligation.0 -
Instead of 'The Stephen and Custardy Show' perhaps we could stick on topic please.0

The topic is the survey.
If someone 'does' the survey by...I tend to ignore this on the survey. I also don't see the point of having to enter the date and time of post marks on the envelopes; especially the times as what value does this give to TNS ?
Note this is posted as a question. They then see no merit in the answer either.0 -

I have an item to post on 20th January (11 days away). Can I prepare it today and add a SMART of my choosing, or should I wait until nearer the time and let TNS allocate a SMART to the item?0

If a Smart has not been allocated, you can pick any you have in stock. You will then find that is allocated to the item next time you look online.0 -
Thanks very much.
I was wondering if I should wait until nearer the posting time to prepare the item, as I've read that SMARTs sometimes have to be returned to TNS for recharging/replacing the battery.0 -
