Thanks Red. I'm expecting a posting pack any day now and hoping there's another set of stamps in with it as they come in handy for my eBay sales.0

I've received a test item this morning and the sender has written 'Before 12, PO' in the left-hand corner (obviously a posting reminder).
I am concerned that if my postman has noticed, I will be revealed as a panelist. Is there anything I should do about it?0 -
If you mention it, you may be taken off the panel for being compromised. I'd keep schtum.
I have been told I'm back on the live panel, but no start date was yet. My dashboard is now telling me I have Smarts to return - I'm guessing they've out-efficiented themselves and this is a pre-emotive request? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

As elsien had advised, I would not say anything to TNS as they would probably take you off the panel.
For info, I suggest that most posties can guess when people are on the survey or not. It is a bit of a giveaway when TNS post correspondence to people quoting 'Birds Road':rotfl: on the envelopes. Not very clever but that sums up TNS.

Considering you can feel the SMARTS in all the letters its blindingly obvious that the posties always know what test items are...........and I doubt they give a monkeys.0 -
Thanks for replies, all.
I'll say nowt to TNS as I don't want to be removed from the panel.
I agree with stephen - most posties will know - and especially mine, as the test item that came this morning with posting details written on the outside, arrived with the grey posting pack with the TNS address printed on the package.
But like custardy said, they won't care. And why should they, as long as they're doing their job properly.0 -
Sorry, not ignoring you shaneym, didn't see your post as it arrived while I was typing mine.
Yes, it is easy to feel the SMART inside the envelope.0 -
TNS are very silly.
What value is there in asking panellists to enter the time people have received items; especially when the postman only delivers one lot of post each day ? He does not do multiples deliveries per day.
I tend to ignore this on the survey. I also don't see the point of having to enter the date and time of post marks on the envelopes; especially the times as what value does this give to TNS ?
I tend to pay little attention to these items.
Also I do not understand when TNS query my sent items especially when they query items that I posted several days ago. I can't be expected to remember dates/time of items that I posted many days ago. I never amend the posting details and always just confirm.0 -

So glad you are putting an effort into the survey.
Have you thought of complaining about the question?
Could it be so RM (you know, who pay for the survey) can monitor QOS on meeting their USO target delivery times?
Postmarks, well where do you think RM gets data as to its 1C/2C delivery time performance?
Item queries? Well could these item have been delivered later than expected or flagged up a rogue RFD scan on route?0
