I have been on 3 rests now and feeling upset, but thought oh well, saves me having to dedicate time each day to post/log.

However 2 months ago I was asked to come back and then started all the training over again, got to end of training, got one weeks posting pack and before I could send them out, they pulled the plug on me again. I was so mad, so rather greedily I did not send out the letters due to be sent that week as was peed off. Low and behind 3 weeks later out of the blue I got a proper pack to send out letters to humans, with no explanation. Now on my 3rd week of sending and received my monthly incentive and now some bonfire stamps pack, well appreciated.

However today I received a cube 2nd one received this week just left outside front door as out at work all day, open it up and find the Golden Smart, not knowing anything about what this means have read up it means I have won £100 vouchers, I am jumping for joy. Never won anything like this in my life.

    Wow, lucky you, congratulations :j

Not fair... I wanted Star Wars and got Shackleton! Got Queen's 90th Birthday in July. Thinking back, it seems to be a bit random whether you get the most recent set or a 2/3 month old set - possibly based on whatever is in the cupboard at Swan Lane.

Random indeed, Maybe it's just a lucky dip.
  • Golden Smart sounds like Charlie and the chocolate factory, do you have to give it back

Hi all I remember signing up ages ago but got an email today to join. What happens now.

Do they ask you to post at awkward times. I have a post box outside my house and also one at work in the city can I use them . So timings I won't be able to post when actually working
    Mortgage free wannabe

    Actual mortgage stating amount £75,150

Overpayment paused to pay off cc

    Starting balance £66,565.45

    Current balance £58,108

    Cc around 8k.

  • They ask you to post before midday, after midday or simply before last collection. I ignored time specific and always posted on the way to work, around 7.30am. I was never contacted about this.

What is important is to post on the day stated.

They differentiate between boxes outside post offices and those not. I adhered to this request as it was only a slight diversion.

You'll soon get send training guidelines and your first pack. You'll soon settle in to it.

I've got two weeks to go now before I finish my current stint, really glad my 6 months doesn't cover December. I like doing 6 months on and 6 months off (although its usually more like 4-5 months), especially with the increased number of parcels to post. I'll still be doing the Correctly Delivered and Unaddressed Mail surveys and have enough stamps saved to last until next year :)

Not sure if everyone is aware, but Macmillan collect used stamps for fundraising. I send my old stamps from TNS envelopes that I receive, rather than them going in the bin.
    The address is:
Stamp Bureau in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
    PO Box 469

Thanks for that - I was saving stamps but stopped because I couldn't find anyone who wanted them.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
