It's not rural or anything - it's a nice suburb full of yummy mummys that could pop to the PO on the way back from Pilates.I need to think of something new here...0 -

The real SMART with the AEDB code is an old dead one that they use to give you an idea of what they are like. I don't believe I have ever been told which particular SMART to use.Clairabella78 wrote: »Hi butterfly2001,
When I was doing my training I mostly had the cardboard smarts with the occasional real one with a microchip. They all had the same smart code, something like AEDB (forgive me if that's not exactly correct, it's been a while since training and many smarts down the line!!) so it doesn't really matter which version (cardboard or chipped) you put in which envelope. They're just getting you used to the system at this point.
In future, when you go live, you'll get many different smarts and it will state on the online schedule which smart they want you to use in which item. Sometimes however, they don't specify which smart to use so you just use one that you have in stock that isn't allocated elsewhere.
Note that in the training period they don't tend to list your smarts in your online smart stock list.
I hope all that helps,
Take care

Had an e-mail this afternoon telling me I had passed training and will now be on the real panel.
Just as well they told me as I would never have known what to do with the real items I have had to post and received this week

Today, I received my posting pack so I am back on the live posting panel next week.0

So did I - there isn't really a problem using the vouchers but I'm not keen on paying cash and getting vouchers back. I had two parcels to post this week costing over £6 - I also need to travel to get to a post office, which isn't ideal as I only need to go into the city centre once a week on average. I have a ton of Love 2 Shop vouchers piled up, they just love me in Wilko when I give them a load of £1 vouchers to pay for my shoplittlemoney wrote: »I have done the survey. Shame we couldn't comment on alternative incentives to postage stamps. Though I did comment on now having to spend my own money to pay for cubes etc and only getting vouchers back which are more difficult to use.

I have two items to post on the same day, one cube before miday and one letter at a post office box after midday.
Not had this before. Do you make two trips to the post office or ignore the before and after midday and post both at the same time? Thanks.0 -
