I don't record the envelopes as folded when I receive them from other panellists - its not fair on the postman, given it wasn't him who folded it.2020 Wins:

I only report it folded if the whole package is folded and not just the envelope. When I post them out I put the sticker over the fold so the receiver can tell that the postie didn't fold it.0

I'm curious. Is the item marked do not bend?0 -
From memory, the fold is too well creased (firmly done) when they come from TNS that there is no way the postie could have folded it like that0
-
Hey Peeps!!
I also stick the address label over the original crease from TNS, so the recipient can try and determine whether the envelope was re-folded in transit. Therefore I look out for the same details when I receive test items. Doing this obviously isn't fail safe but does help. If I can't determine 100% whether it is the original fold or a new one, I do not log it as "bent/folded" because as Saetana says, it's not fair on the postie.
I did receive a large brown envelope today which was still stuck in the letter box bent length ways (in a curve rather than a creased fold.......if that makes sense!! 😕 ). I could actually tell 100% that it wasn't re-folded in transit width ways, but I logged it as bent due to it still being in the letter box that way.
Decisions, decisions!! 😉
Happy posting x0 -
I prepared a large brown envelope yesterday and put the sheet of paper inside the envelope the other way round so the fold wasn't the same as the envelope
I also put the label across the fold and then I put it underneath the pile of envelopes for next week to try and flatten it a bit more.
I'm due to finish my 6 month stint soon and have mixed feelings. I enjoy doing the survey but as I've been doing it for a whole year I feel like I could do with a few months off. I also do the correctly delivered survey so I'll carry on with that during my break.0 -

That made me chuckle...I was at the PO the other morning posting a cube...whilst clearly the postman was at my house trying to deliver a parcel...
I picked up the parcel this morning....a cube

I was due to finish next week after this 6 months stint & had received stamps and commemorative pack but received an email today saying they were short of panellists in my area and would I carry on. And I don't have to retrain!!!
Anyone looking to join in RH19 might be welcomed if they apply now. Interesting though this postcode is not on the current list they have sent out.0
