Thanks for information.
I phoned TNS earlier, and amazingly, got through within a couple of rings!
The assistant was very helpful and promised to send envelopes within 7 days.
I hope they're not in a hurry for their smarts0 -
I've had my 4 weeks notice that my first 6 month stint of being on the panel is coming to an end
Has anyone been invited back before a 6 month break has finished?
Gonna miss those stamps0 -

Hi
Yes, I was invited back straight away as there is a shortage of panelists in my area.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
I'm looking forward to a break. 3 items to post this week, 4 next, all on separate days. Plus I'm receiving around 6 per week.0

I recently joined the panel, still in training phase. So I've been following this thread for latest posts and have read FAQs. One thing I'm not sure of is when we are supposed to post. Does before last collection mean anytime during the day before last collection, or should it be just before last collection?0

Hi
Before last collection means is any time before the last collection.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
Any time before the postperson gets there... But perhaps don't leave it to the last minute; I have been caught out once or twice when I thought I'd posted at 1728 (or I did according to my watch) and it came up as a query when the SMART showed it wasn't collected until the next day. Mind you, it could also be that the box was emptied ahead of time, or not completely emptied which RM would want to detect if it happened regularly on the same round.I need to think of something new here...0

After TNS queried why I hadn't posted a cube I let them know that my local main Post Office are getting everyone who is just posting mail to use the Post & Go machines. They don't issue APL labels so to get one I've had to go to another (smaller) branch which is out of my way.
TNS have just replied with this advice which I thought might help others:-
'If the staff encourage you to use the self service machine, it is okay to do so. We do not want you to go to any inconvenience posting test items. Take an APl item to the post office and if they ask you to use the machine, do so, then let us know the item number and the post office you used. We will then make a note of it on the report that is sent to Royal Mail.'
